Introducing Humanforce Learning

Introducing Humanforce Learning

Humanforce Learning is a native learning management system that connects directly to your HR data, automating compliance training and learning at every workforce change. Built for HR teams in frontline industries where mandatory training is a regulatory requirement, not just an admin task. When your workforce changes, training follows automatically.

Mandatory training in frontline organisations shouldn't depend on someone remembering to act. Humanforce Learning assigns the right course automatically when someone joins, changes role, or hits a compliance renewal. Completions record to the employee profile and your compliance dashboard stays current without anyone having to chase renewals.

What it includes

Automated training enrolment - training fires automatically when a new hire is added, someone changes role, or a compliance renewal comes due. Six HR event types supported, no manual step required once rules are configured.

Real-time compliance dashboard - see who is complete, who is overdue, and what is at risk across your whole organisation, updated live. No spreadsheet required, no report to pull.

Learning path builder - create role-based programs with prerequisites, dependencies, and access rules connected directly to your HR org structure. Build once, runs automatically.

Micro-learning automation - schedule recurring quizzes and short courses to specific roles on a set cadence, keeping compliance knowledge current without HR having to act each cycle.

Manager overdue alerts - managers receive automatic notifications when direct reports fall behind on mandatory training, early enough to act before a deadline is missed.

Learner portal - employees see assigned and optional courses in one place, within the same Humanforce HR platform they already use.

External training recording - capture external certifications, conferences, and third-party courses on the employee profile alongside internal learning.

Audit-ready reporting - export compliance reports to CSV or PDF in seconds. Completion records are immutable, giving you a clean audit trail for any regulatory review.

Why it matters

  • Mandatory training assigns itself when your workforce changes
  • Compliance gaps are visible before deadlines pass, not after
  • Internal and external training records on one employee profile
  • Employees access training in the platform they already use
  • Audit-ready compliance reports available instantly

New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.80

We're pleased to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.80, headlined by a significant expansion of Timesheet Admin — including export capability, richer break visibility and editing, and a new paid or locked filter —  plus a Labour Group expansion shortcut and a Workforce Analytics access control adjustment.

Release Schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday 2nd July, 2026.
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated overnight on Wednesday, 15th July, 2026.

Rostering & Templates

Keep Labour Groups expanded for faster shift management

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

When viewing rosters grouped by Labour Group in the Single Day view, users can now expand or collapse all Labour Groups at once, instead of opening each group individually.

Roster Manager will remember the last selected state, so Labour Groups load expanded or collapsed as expected, including additional groups that appear while scrolling. This gives Workforce Planners and managers working with events that contain many Labour Groups a faster way to view shifts and manage coverage, similar to the experience in the legacy Back Office Event Planner.

For more information, refer to the Help article: Use Labour Groups in Roster Manager.

Clocking, Timesheets & Breaks

Timesheet Admin data now exports to Excel or CSV

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Timesheet Admin now supports exporting the currently filtered timesheet list to Excel or CSV.

The export reflects the same date range, filters, and columns configured in your Screen Settings, giving administrators a consistent way to review and analyse timesheet data outside Humanforce.

Exported cost columns continue to respect existing cost-visibility permissions, so users will only see cost data they are authorised to access. This also reduces the need to rely on the equivalent Back Office export.

Paid Break minutes now visible at a glance

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

The existing Break Minutes column has been renamed to Unpaid Break (Mins), and a new Paid Break (Mins) column is now available alongside it, so you can see paid and unpaid break time separately rather than relying on one combined figure. Both columns can be shown or hidden independently via Screen Settings, and any saved preferences for the original Break Minutes column carry over automatically to Unpaid Break (Mins).

Compare timesheet breaks without leaving the grid

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Where a timesheet has recorded breaks, the Unpaid Break (Mins) and Paid Break (Mins) columns now show a count you can click to open a Break Preview modal, listing each break's start time, end time, length, and paid status without leaving the grid. This makes it much faster to cross-check breaks across multiple timesheets when reviewing at scale, and an edit pencil in the modal jumps straight into the full timesheet editor if a change is needed.

Filter timesheets by lock and pay status in one click

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Timesheet Admin now includes a Locked/Paid filter with four options — Locked & Paid, Locked & Unpaid, Unlocked & Paid, and Unlocked & Unpaid — so you can narrow the list to exactly the combination you need.

A new “Active” filter option has also been added to the existing "All Timesheets" filter, sitting alongside Authorised, for a quicker view of currently active timesheets.

Review allowance details without opening the timesheet

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

A new Allowances column shows the number of unique allowance types recorded against a timesheet, so you no longer need to open the timesheet to check whether allowances have been applied correctly. Clicking on a non-zero value reveals a tooltip with the name, unit value, quantity, and amount for each allowance, and the column can be sorted, added, or removed like any other via Screen Settings.

Actual break times now visible in the Timesheet Editor

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

When editing a timesheet, actual break start and end times recorded against a shift are now displayed alongside the scheduled break details, matching the level of detail already available in Back Office. The actual times only appear where this data exists, giving reviewers a clearer picture of what happened on shift.

Smoother redirect after creating a timesheet from roster

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Creating timesheets from the roster using Bulk Timesheet Create now transitions cleanly into Daily Authorisation. After the timesheets are created, users can move straight into reviewing and authorising the day without any interruption to the workflow.

Accurate break allocation across auto-divided shifts

Admin > System Config > Clock-in Settings

When an employee's clock-in spans several back-to-back rostered shifts with auto-divide enabled, a break taken during a later shift is now allocated to that shift's timesheet based on when the break actually occurred. Previously, a clocked break could be assigned to the first timesheet in the sequence regardless of when it was taken, which could result in duplicate break coverage where auto-breaks were also configured. Each split timesheet now reflects the breaks that genuinely occurred within it.

Reporting & Analytics

Sales Budget dashboards now respect your access permissions

Management > Advanced > Workforce Analytics

Dashboards built on the Sales Budget data source now correctly restrict results to the locations and departments a user is permitted to see, in line with how every other Workforce Analytics data source already behaves. Previously, a Sales Budget dashboard could return data for locations and departments outside a user's configured access level, even though other data sources such as Timesheet Data and Roster Data correctly applied those restrictions. All Workforce Analytics data sources now honour the same location and department visibility rules.

New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.79

We're pleased to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.79, which brings meaningful improvements across rostering, shift-filling workflows, timesheet administration, payroll exports, and integration reliability.

This release gives roster managers richer information when filling and offering shifts — including employee tenure and experience data — alongside tighter compliance controls for shift offers, a notable security improvement in Timesheet Admin, and a set of Integration Central enhancements covering a rebuilt timesheet import, a new pay type override import, and a reliability improvement for the WFM to Humanforce Payroll employee sync.

Release Schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday, 18th June, 2026.
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.79 overnight on Wednesday, 1st July, 2026.

Rostering & Templates

Tenure and FTE Experience for smarter Fill Shift selections

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Two new optional columns — Tenure and FTE Experience — are now available in the Fill Shift screen, giving roster managers additional context when deciding who to offer or assign a shift to.

  • The Tenure column shows how long each employee has been with the organisation, calculated from their start date and displayed in years and days.
  • The FTE Experience column converts the employee's total hours worked across their history into a full-time equivalent figure — based on a 40-hour working week — making it easier to compare two employees who may have similar tenure but different levels of working experience.

Both columns are off by default and can be switched on through the column customisation menu. Each column is fully sortable, so you can quickly surface your most experienced or longest-serving available candidates at the top of the list to make more informed rostering decisions.

Reduce non-compliance with tighter permissions in the Fill Shift workflow

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

The "Hide Employees" filter options in Fill Shift can now be locked ON by default whenever a rostering user opens the modal, to help reduce the possibility of rostering an employee who would violate scheduling rules — such as reaching maximum weekly hours. With the filters locked to the ON state, those employees remain excluded from the search results unless the user has permission to relax those filters.

A new permission, "Allow changes to Hide Employees filter in Fill Shift", is available as a child of the existing "Assign and Unassign" permission and is automatically enabled for users who already have the parent permission. To enforce the new restrictive behaviour, admins should remove this new child permission as required. This gives organisations the option of a safer default workflow while still allowing targeted override access where needed.

Improved notifications for Employees directly assigned from a shift bid

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

We’ve strengthened the Fill Shift workflow so that when a roster manager assigns a shift to an employee who has placed a bid, the employee receives a confirmation notification in line with the Bid Manager experience. This provides a more consistent assignment process across workflows and helps ensure employees are kept informed when a shift is assigned to them.

Fill Shift – Bid/Offer Time now visible when employee accepts a shift offer

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

The Bid/Offer Time column in Fill Shift now populates the timestamp at which an employee accepted a shift offered via Roster Manager. Previously, this column could remain blank after an employee responded to an offer — their status would update to "Bid" as expected, but no time was recorded. Roster managers now have a reliable timestamp for every response, making it easier to prioritise candidates fairly and audit the offer process.

Roster Manager – Ensuring the alert notifications panel is accurate

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Roster alert notifications now provide a clearer, more focused view by suppressing alerts that are outside the locations each user can access. This helps reduce unnecessary noise in the roster alerts panel, making it easier for managers to identify the alerts they can review and action with confidence throughout their session.

Clocking, Timesheets & Breaks

Adding breaks to Timesheets is faster than ever

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Unpaid breaks can now be added directly from the Timesheet Admin grid for timesheets that currently have no break recorded, avoiding the need to open the timesheet dialog.

Now the field is accessible inline and the new break is placed using existing break schedule logic, with all standard validation applied. For teams correcting timesheets in bulk, this removes a significant source of friction by reducing clicks and dialog load times.

Timesheet Admin – "All Pay Companies" filter scope behaviour

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

The pay company filter in Timesheet Admin has been updated to apply user access permissions more consistently. When users select "All Pay Companies", results are now limited to the pay companies they are permitted to view - which is typically their assigned pay company unless they have the permission View Timesheet Authorisation Page > Allow access to all pay companies.

This helps ensure timesheet visibility remains aligned with each manager’s configured access scope across both filtering and displayed data.

Timesheets displaying up to 200 records per page

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Timesheet Admin and the Daily Authorisation view now support displaying up to 200 timesheet records per page, in addition to the existing 50 and 100 options. For organisations managing high volumes of timesheets — particularly across large teams or multi-location environments — this reduces the amount of pagination required to review timesheet records.

Back Office to cloud migration

Payroll exports – InfinetCloud and GreenTree now available in WFM

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

Additional payroll exports for the below payroll systems can now be run directly from Humanforce WFM, following the configuration of your payroll company with the correct identifier and settings.

  • InfinetCloud Identifier: INFINETCLOUD
  • GreenTree Identifier: GREENTREE_CONFIG1

Integrations & Integration Central

Timesheet Import – rebuilt for significantly faster processing

Integration Central > File Imports

A new Timesheet Import is now available in Integration Central, built on Humanforce's latest platform architecture and delivering major performance improvements over the previous version. Large files that could previously take hours now complete substantially faster, with improved reliability and clearer error reporting. The import also offers more flexibility in how you identify employees and match existing timesheets, reducing import failures and giving you greater control over import behaviour.

Existing files used with the previous import will continue to work without any changes but we always recommend testing with a test file. The legacy version remains available as "Timesheet Data (Deprecated – use new version)" while you transition at your own pace. Contact Humanforce Support if you'd like assistance planning your migration. Help article is available here and will require you to login to view it.

Integration Central – Employee Pay Type Override Import now available

Integration Central > File Imports

A new Employee Pay Type Overrides Import is now available in Integration Central, enabling you to efficiently manage employee-specific pay type configurations at scale. The import supports creating new overrides, updating existing ones automatically (no action column required), and deleting obsolete records using a simple delete flag. Built on Humanforce's latest platform architecture, it processes large batches reliably with clear error reporting, and offers flexible employee identification options so you have complete control over employee-level pay rules without manual data entry.  Help article is available here and will require you to login to view it.

Humanforce Payroll Integration – Terminated Employee Status Preserved

Employees with a "Terminated" status in Humanforce Payroll will no longer have that status changed as a result of integration sync updates, unless the employee is reactivated in the suite. Previously, when the WFM-to-HF Payroll employee sync ran for an employee who had a termination date in WFM, it could overwrite a manually-set "Terminated" status in HF Payroll with "Automatic" or "Manual" — causing those employees to appear reactivated in certain areas of HF Payroll and creating confusion for payroll administrators.

Introducing Leave in Days

Managing leave the way your organisation and region actually works just got a lot simpler. We're pleased to introduce Leave in Days, a significant enhancement to Humanforce WFM that allows leave entitlements, balances, and requests to be tracked and managed in days, not just hours.

For organisations in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and larger Australian enterprises with complex leave structures, this means leave can now be managed in the unit that aligns with your legislation, payroll systems, and employee expectations, end-to-end, without manual conversion.

Hour-based leave types continue to work exactly as before, and employees can hold a mix of day-based and hour-based leave simultaneously.

🔥 What’s New

Leave in Days delivers end-to-end day-based leave management across the full WFM workflow. Key capabilities include:

  • Configure leave types in days — Administrators can set a Unit Type of Days on any leave type via Shift Type Settings. Fields such as accrual caps, balance caps, and max consecutive requestable days all update accordingly.
  • Optional weeks display — Enable Display in Weeks to show balances in both days and weeks (e.g. "5 days (1.0 weeks)"), ideal for regions where leave entitlements are expressed in weekly increments.
  • Employee leave requests in days — Employees can request full-day or partial-day leave with balances displayed in days. Partial requests are automatically converted to a decimal fraction of a day based on the employee's standard daily hours (e.g. 4 hours of an 8-hour day = 0.5 days).
  • Manager approvals updated — The Leave Approvals screen displays balances and requested amounts in the correct unit per leave type. Mixed environments (hours + days) are fully supported.
  • Payroll exports in days — New export tags — Shift Type in Days and Leave Duration in Days — mean payroll systems no longer need to convert hours to days. The correct value is stored and exported natively.
  • Timesheets and accruals aligned — Leave timesheet entries and accrual transactions reflect the day-based unit throughout, ensuring data integrity across the full pay cycle.
  • Notifications in the right unit — All leave-related notifications, confirmations, and approvals reflect the correct unit (e.g. "Your 1.0 day of annual leave has been approved.").
  • Mobile app support — Available on the Humanforce Work app (iOS and Android, v1.27+) for employee requests and manager approvals on the go.

⭐ Why it Matters

Leave in Days removes a longstanding friction point for organisations that operate in day-based leave environments, bringing compliance, clarity, and operational efficiency into one seamless experience.

  • New Zealand organisations — NZ legislation governs many leave types in days (sick leave, alternative days, FBAPS, LSL). Leave in Days eliminates the cumbersome hours-to-days workarounds that have created balance confusion and payroll friction for NZ customers.
  • UK organisations — UK employees typically accrue and take annual leave in days. This update brings Humanforce into natural alignment with standard UK leave practices and payroll expectations.
  • Larger Australian enterprises — Complex workforce structures with multiple leave types benefit from the flexibility to manage some leave in days while retaining hours-based tracking for others — all within a single system.
  • Payroll officers — No more manual conversion. Leave duration is stored and exported in the correct unit, reducing errors and saving time at each pay run.
  • Managers — Leave approval screens show accurate, unit-correct balances and requested amounts, reducing confusion and improving decision confidence.
  • Employees — Leave balances are displayed in the unit they expect to see, making it easier to plan and request leave with confidence.

🏁 Getting Started

Leave in Days is now available in Humanforce WFM. To configure day-based leave types and get your environment set up, read this Help article.

Introducing Drag and Move Shifts in Roster Manager

Managing rosters just got faster and more intuitive. We’re excited to introduce Drag & Move Shifts in Roster Manager, giving managers a seamless, visual way to adjust schedules directly within the roster grid.

This new capability simplifies how shifts are updated, helping Roster Managers make quick rostering updates via a click & drag.

🔥 What’s New

With Drag & Move Shifts, you can now reposition shifts directly within the roster using simple drag-and-drop interactions. Key capabilities include:

  • Move is now the default behaviour - Now when dragging a shift, it’s going to perform a move function, rather than duplicating the shift.
  • Duplicate shifts is still supported - by pressing ALT (or Option, for Macs) while dragging the shift, you’ll see an indication that the shift is instead going to be copied when dropped into place.
  • Move shifts across employees or days by clicking, dragging, and dropping them into a new position within the grid
  • Move shifts between roles, groups and more - such as dragging a shift to another area, or department, to quickly update that detail.
  • Work directly in the roster view without needing to open edit windows for simple changes, with a consistent drag & drop experience across Role view, People view and inside the Template Editor screen too.
  • Real-time updates ensure your roster reflects changes instantly for better visibility and control

This builds on Roster Manager’s intuitive grid experience, where managers can already create, edit, assign, and manage shifts in one place

⭐ Why it Matters

Roster changes are constant and being able to make schedule updates quickly and accurately matters.

For managers:

  • Reduce time spent editing shifts manually
  • Make quick adjustments during live operations
  • Minimise clicks and context switching

For organisations:

  • Improve scheduling efficiency and responsiveness
  • Reduce errors when reallocating shifts
  • Support better workforce coverage in real time

Introducing Bulk Contracts in Humanforce HR

HR teams can now issue contracts to multiple employees in a single workflow. Whether you're onboarding a new cohort, rolling out a remuneration change, or managing a structural update, Bulk Contracts replaces the one-by-one issuing process that made high-volume contract runs slow and error-prone.

Select a compatible template, choose your recipients, and confirm. The system handles the rest: auto-filling each contract from employee data, assigning signers and viewers based on template configuration, and validating every contract before anything goes out. If a contract can't be resolved, you're told before you send.

🔥 What it includes

Send to multiple recipients at once - issue the same contract template to an entire cohort in one action, replacing repetitive individual drafting and sending.

Auto-fill from employee data - each contract is populated with the relevant employee details at the point of batch creation. No manual entry per person.

Pre-send validation - before you confirm, the system checks every contract for missing signers and unresolvable variables. Batches with errors cannot be submitted.

Automatic signer and viewer assignment - roles are assigned using template configuration and system logic at batch creation, removing the need to allocate signers manually across each contract.

Standard contract lifecycle - each contract follows the existing pending, completed, and rejected states, so audit trails and tracking processes stay unchanged.

Permission-controlled access - bulk issuing is governed by a new permission assignable by System Administrators, ensuring only authorised users can initiate a batch.

⭐️ Why it matters

  • Cut hours of contract admin down to a single workflow
  • Reduce errors from manual data entry across large cohorts
  • Catch compliance issues before contracts reach employees
  • Keep existing audit and tracking processes intact

🏁 Getting started

To get started, refer to the Bulk Contracts help article.

New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.78

Announcing the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.78. This release delivers a more seamless rostering experience, streamlines payroll exports by bringing additional connectors into WFM, and introduces a new bulk import capability for labour group allocations that cuts enterprise setup time significantly. You'll also find richer budget data in Workforce Analytics.

Release Schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday, 4th June, 2026.
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated overnight on Wednesday, 17th June, 2026.

Rostering & Templates

Roster Manager – paid breaks more visible in costing preview

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

The award interpretation preview in Roster Manager breaks down the costs of a shift - and now it correctly accounts for paid breaks when calculating shift costs. Previously, paid break details could be omitted from the preview request, so cost estimates may not have matched what the costing engine would produce with the full break configuration. Roster managers with paid break configurations can now trust that cost previews reflect the actual rostered break structure.

Note: Only applies if the "Enable Rostering Paid Breaks" system setting is ON.

Roster Manager – drag-and-drop now reaches the last day column

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager / Template Manager

Drag-and-drop in Roster Manager and Template Manager now works reliably across all day columns, including the last column, regardless of your browser window width. You can confidently move and copy shifts to any day in your roster without needing to resize your window, making shift scheduling faster and more intuitive.

Clocking, Timesheets & Breaks

Timesheet Admin – Overlapping filter accuracy

Management > Timesheets > Timesheet Admin

The Overlapping filter in Timesheet Admin has been improved in the way it handles adjacent timesheets when one of them had zero minutes (duration). You can now use the filter with added confidence, knowing that only genuinely overlapping timesheets will appear in your results. This reduces false positives and saves time when reviewing timesheet data, so you can focus on resolving real scheduling conflicts.

Payroll, Costing & Awards

Adjustment Payrun – employee breakdown now accessible with negative deductions

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

Opening an employee's pay breakdown in an Adjustment Payrun no longer throws an error when the employee has a negative deduction. You can now review all adjustment details without interruption, ensuring a smoother payroll review process and eliminating the need to refresh the page to continue working.

Rockfast consolidated payroll export – leave pay types fully included

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

The Rockfast consolidated payroll export now uses the same inclusion logic as the non-consolidated export and Back Office EXE for leave pay types, including those whose configured Default Shift Type is not marked as a leave type. This helps ensure consolidated exports capture the relevant pay types consistently and supports smoother payroll processing.

Reporting & Analytics

Workforce Analytics – additional datapoints for Sales Budget

Management > Advanced > Reporting

New Budget Sales, Budget Labour, and Budget % fields are now available in the Workforce Analytics Sales Budget datasource and built-in report template. This gives you richer budget visibility alongside your existing forecast and actual figures, enabling more comprehensive labour cost analysis and planning directly within WFA.

Employee Management & Imports

Labour Group Allocation Import – bulk setup via Integration Central

Integration Central > File Imports

You can now upload labour group allocation records in bulk to Humanforce WFM using Integration Central. This new file import supports creating, updating, and deleting labour group allocations, assigning shift types, and configuring location, department, and role allocation percentages. Use ad-hoc uploads or scheduled SFTP imports to streamline setup and ongoing maintenance at scale. Learn how to prepare and upload your import file.

Back Office to Cloud Migration

Payroll exports – Payline, Kingstreet, Talent2, and Comacc now available in WFM

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

Additional Payroll exports for the below payroll systems can now be run directly from Humanforce WFM, following the configuration of your payroll company with the correct identifier and settings.

  • Comacc Identifier: COMACC01
  • Talent2 Identifier: TALENT2_CONFIG1
  • Kingstreet (KINGpay) Identifier: KINGSTREET_CONFIG1
  • Payline Identifier: PAYLINE_CONFIG1

New Release! Work App - Version 1.27

We're excited to announce Humanforce Work App version 1.27, which brings expanded manager timesheet filters, improved timesheet permissions and attachment handling, and a range of bug fixes across scheduling, clocking, payslips, and shift bids.

Release Schedule

iOS and Android Work App v1.27 is expected to be available in the week of 15th June 2026.

Manager Timesheet Filters

Home > Timesheets

Managers can now filter the Timesheet Authorisation screen by Employment Type, Shift Type, and Function - in addition to the Area and Event filters added in v1.26. All filter list screens now include a search bar for faster navigation. These changes apply to both iOS and Android.

Timesheet Attachments

Earnings > Timesheets

Employees with the Allow Attachments permission can now view, add, and manage timesheet attachments directly from the timesheet details screen - without needing edit access. Previously, the attachment section was only reachable through the Edit Timesheet screen, which meant employees whose role requires attaching documents were blocked entirely if they did not have edit permission. (iOS & Android)

Employee Timesheet Visibility

Earnings > Timesheets and Home > This Pay Cycle

For employees without the View Timesheet permission, the app now correctly removes timesheet-related content across the app rather than displaying errors or inaccessible screens. Specifically: the Earnings tab no longer appears in the bottom navigation; the pay cycle section on the home screen (authorised hours, payable hours, and the View Earnings button) is hidden; and employees who clock out are returned to the clocking screen instead of being shown a timesheet they cannot access. Previously, this content was visible but would show an error when tapped, a confusing experience for employees on restricted configurations. (iOS & Android)

Chat

Messages > Chat

Group chat channel owners on iOS can now name and rename their group chats, matching existing functionality on Android.

Leave & Availability

Schedule > Leave / Availability

  • Resolved an issue with leave and availability records being tappable even when the Allow leave requests to be made permission was turned off (iOS & Android)
  • The Apply for Leave button was visible to users who did not have leave request permission (iOS & Android), and is now hidden
  • Users on iOS are now able to correctly set overnight availability on iOS
  • Resolved an issue where the time picker was not visible when setting leave or availability times (Android)

Shift Bids

Schedule > Bid

  • Shift hours were missing on the Shift Bid/Offer screen when View Roster End Times was turned off (iOS)
  • Incorrect shift bid details were shown when a user had more than 50 bids (Android)
  • Resolved an issue with the app sometimes crashing on the Shift Bid Details screen (Android)

Timesheets & Earnings

Earnings

  • The Earnings screen was not refreshing after actions such as starting a shift or deleting a timesheet from the Manager screen - navigating back to Earnings would show outdated data. The screen now correctly reloads on navigation to reflect the latest state (iOS)

Payslips

Earnings > Payslips

  • Payslips were limited to 20 pay periods. The full history is now accessible (Android)

Noticeboard

Messages > Noticeboard

  • Resolved an issue where PDF attachments were failing to open due to a missing dot between the filename and extension (iOS)

Clocking

  • The clocking screen was incorrectly prompting users to end their shift after navigating from the Home screen (iOS)

Notifications

  • Push notifications for shift-related issues (such as shifts with missing required fields) were not being delivered to some Android users. Improved logic ensures these notifications are now shown correctly. We have also added enhanced error tracking to help troubleshoot push notification issues more effectively in future (Android)

New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.77

We're pleased to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.77, which brings improvements across shift management, timesheet accuracy, payroll exports, and award costing. This release refines bid and offer workflows in Roster Manager, extends the range of supported payroll export identifiers, introduces a new award option for managing pay rates across non-default roles, and further enhancements detailed below.

Release Schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday, 21st May, 2026.
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.77 overnight on Wednesday, 3rd June, 2026.

Rostering & Templates

Drag & Drop to Move shifts between days, employees and more

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Editing rosters just got faster and more intuitive: Dragging a shift now supports moving it, rather than just copying it. This works consistently across People view, Role view, and inside the Template Editor, with real-time updates so the roster reflects changes instantly.

Moving is now the default behaviour. To copy (duplicate) a shift instead, hold ALT (or Option on Mac) while dragging — a visual indicator will confirm the shift will be copied when dropped.

Simple schedule adjustments can be made directly in the grid without opening an edit window.

  • Move shifts across employees or days by clicking, dragging, and dropping them into a new position within the grid.
  • Move shifts between roles, groups, and departments — for example, dragging a shift to another area or department to quickly update that detail.

Role View – roles without shifts are more visible, with or without grouping

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

In Role view, roles that have no shifts in the selected date range now remain visible as rows when you apply Location or Department based filters — whether or not a Group By option is active. Previously, applying any filter or grouping mode could cause empty role rows to disappear, making it a real challenge to create shifts against those hidden roles. Roles matching the current filter scope now always appear in the grid, giving managers full visibility into their role structure to review and build rosters with greater confidence.

In the situation where you want to hide empty rows from the Role view, you can add the Assignment filter and select both Assigned and Unassigned, as this engages shift-specific filters which tells the grid to hide rows with no shifts.

Bulk Assign with fairer, faster prioritisation by showing earliest bids/offers

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager > Actions > Bulk Assign

When you have multiple identical shifts that require filling, the Bulk Assign action enables rostering managers to quickly find suitable staff and assign the shifts with just a few clicks.

This workflow has been improved further to reveal bids and offers for any one of the identical shifts against each employee. This ensures all candidates for the shift are evaluated fairly, by comparing their Bid and Offer times for any of those shifts in a single view.

The system displays the earliest bid or offer time against each employee so you can be sure of prioritizing those staff who expressed their interest in a timely manner ahead of later bids or staff yet to place a bid.

Assign Shift –  showing Shift Offer confirmation check when strictly necessary

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

When assigning an employee to a shift that has only bids (and no active offers), the Shift Offer confirmation dialog is no longer shown. Previously, this prompt could appear unnecessarily during the Fill Shift > Assign flow when bid records were present, even though no offers had been sent. The check now correctly distinguishes between bids and offers, so managers see only relevant confirmations when completing an assignment.

Labour Group End Time now used as default shift end time

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

When adding a shift to a Labour Group in Roster Manager, the Labour Group End Time is now used as the default shift end time, providing a more sensible default value for the shifts created into the group.

Previously, shifts could default based on your standard shift period settings - even when the Labour Group was configured with a specific end time. This applies to single and bulk shift additions, Template Editor, Shift view, and Role view.

Clocking & Timesheets

Timesheet Admin – surfacing timesheets whose Location or Department is deactivated

Management > Timesheets > Timesheet Admin

Timesheets recorded against a Location or Department that has since been deactivated now remain visible in the Timesheet Admin screen, with a clear alert indicating which element is inactive. Previously, these timesheets were excluded from results, making it difficult to find, audit or modify these historical records. Deactivated Roles and unassigned Department/Role combinations are also now flagged with a visual indicator.

Timesheet Admin – editing Start Time on the last day of a 31-day month

Management > Timesheets > Timesheet Admin

We’ve addressed a scenario around manually editing the Start Time on a timesheet dated on the last day of a 31-day month (for example, March 31 or October 31) so that it no longer changes the timesheet date to the 1st of that month. This could previously occur when the time field was cleared and a new value was entered while the current calendar month had fewer than 31 days.

Leave & Awards

Leave Approvals – attachments on multi-day leave requests preserved when one day is deleted

Management > Availability > Leave Approvals

We’ve improved how multi-day leave requests handle attachments. If one day needs to be deleted or rejected, the shared file now stays put for the rest of the request—so approvers can keep things moving and employees don’t have to re-upload documents.

New option in Awards to apply default rate when working a non-default role

Admin > Awards

Our Awards module has been enhanced to support more flexibility for employees working non-default roles. The option — "When working non-default role, use pay rate from employee's default role if higher" — is now available on the General tab of the Award Profile settings within the Back Office interface.

When enabled, an employee working in a non-default role that carries a lower rate of pay than their default role will be paid at the higher default rate. If the non-default role rate is higher, the higher rate still applies. This calculation is performed on a per-shift basis and only applies when the employee is working outside their default role.

Integrations

Public API – PATCH timesheet with comment now handled gracefully

Public API > PATCH /api/1.0/timesheets/{guidKey}

Patching an active timesheet via the Public API to add or update a comment now completes successfully. Previously, a PATCH request to an active timesheet — where only the comment field was being updated — could result in an HTTP 500 error. This affects integrations that use the Public API to annotate timesheets without modifying shift times.

Bulk Roster Import now available in Integration Central

Management > Advanced > Integration Central

We’ve introduced Bulk Roster Import in Integration Central, bringing the existing DEX roster import capability into the web-based experience.

This enhancement allows users to upload roster shift data via CSV to create, edit, assign, and delete shifts in bulk, reducing the need for manual roster entry and removing the dependency on remote desktop access.

This feature is especially valuable for large-scale event staffing, where thousands of agency staff may need to be assigned to shifts from a single file. By moving this capability into Integrations Central, users can manage bulk roster imports through a modern web-based workflow with improved accessibility, clearer error handling, and full auditability.

Face Recognition v2 - WFM Kiosks

Improved facial recognition reliability

Facial recognition v2 for web-based kiosks has been enhanced to consistently detect registered employees, improving recognition reliability across kiosks - particularly in cases where new faces were only just added to the system. This update helps deliver a smoother, more dependable clock-in experience for your workforce

Simpler management of facial registration images

Management > Employee > Employee Management

Admins can now view registered Facial Recognition v2 images directly from the Employee Management and Biometric Registration pages, making it easier to verify employee registration and image quality.

When re-registration is required, admins can delete Facial Recognition v1 and v2 registration data. To protect this sensitive action, deletion is controlled by the new “Allow deletion of facial registrations” permission.

Back Office to cloud migration

Payroll Exports  for Technology One, Pulse Payroll, and Aurion Payroll are now available in WFM

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

These payroll vendor export methods are now accessible directly in the Cloud WFM application.

  • Technology One Identifier: TECHNOLOGYONE(S)_CONFIG2

Introducing Sales Budget in Roster Manager

We're excited to introduce Sales Budget — a powerful capability now in Roster Manager that's designed to help managers align labour scheduling with sales performance in real time.

By integrating sales budgets, forecasts, and actuals directly into the rostering experience, managers can make more informed decisions, optimise labour spend, and stay on track with business targets — all without leaving Roster Manager.

🔥 What's New

Sales Budget embeds key financial and operational metrics directly into the scheduling workflow, giving you real-time visibility of valuable commercial data when you need it. Key capabilities include:

  • Track forecast vs actual performance
View and compare forecast sales, actual sales, forecast labour, and actual labour at a departmental level to monitor performance against targets.
  • Compare against Labour and Sales Budgets
In addition to forecasts and actuals, you can now track your Budgeted Labour and Budgeted Sales targets directly in the Roster Manager panel. These longer-term budget figures, typically set at the start of the year or half-yearly, give managers an at-a-glance view of how forecasts and actuals are tracking against plan.
  • Measure labour-to-sales ratios with ease
Key percentages such as labour cost as a proportion of sales are calculated automatically, helping you stay within budget and identify overspend early.
  • Input and manage sales and budget data your way
Add forecast, actual, and budget figures for sales and labour manually within the Sales Budget screen, or import data in bulk via CSV for seamless integration with your existing planning processes.
  • Flexible leave handling in labour calculations
A new setting lets you choose whether leave timesheets are included or excluded from Actual Labour values — giving you a more accurate picture of productive labour costs where it matters.
  • Access insights directly in rostering views
Enable Sales Budget visibility in Roster Manager to make informed scheduling decisions without switching screens.
  • Leverage reporting and analytics
Use built-in reports and dashboards to analyse sales and labour performance trends and export data for deeper insights.

⭐ Why it Matters

Sales Budget in Roster Manager empowers organisations to connect workforce planning with real business performance, ensuring managers, organisations, and their employees all benefit.

  • Managers: Make confident, data-driven rostering decisions with clear visibility into how labour aligns with sales targets, and now, how it tracks against longer-term budget plans.
  • Organisations: Control labour costs, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive profitability by aligning staffing levels with both short-term demand and annual budget targets.
  • Employees: Benefit from more balanced schedules that reflect actual business needs, reducing overstaffing or understaffing.
