New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.57

We’re excited to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.57. This version brings meaningful improvements across rostering, timesheets, APIs, and user interface functionality. Key updates include stricter roster alert controls, expanded filtering options, qualification enforcement, improved shift bid tracking, and a smoother API and timesheet experience. These enhancements reduce user error, support compliance, improve performance, give managers better control over planning and approvals, and through newly introduced integrations, system administrators and payroll professionals benefit from improved data transparency, accuracy, and control.

Release schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday, 24th July 2025
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.57 overnight on Wednesday, 6th Aug 2025

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Rostering alert blocking shift assignments with conflicting leave or unavailability

Users assigning shifts in Roster Manager will now experience a blocking alert (rather than just a warning) when trying to assign an employee who is unavailable or on leave, if they have the Restrictive flag checked in the Roster Alert configuration.

This prevents accidental scheduling conflicts, helping managers avoid operational gaps and reducing the chance of employee dissatisfaction or disputes. It ensures only available and eligible staff are rostered, ensuring better operations and compliance.

New Filter by Location Group

A “Location Group” filter has been added to all Roster Manager views, enhancing the recently introduced Group By “Location Group & Location” option.

This makes it easier for large or multi-site organisations to focus on specific groupings within their scheduling operations. Managers can now streamline their view, making it easier to edit or analyse rosters by location groups.

Faster Notifications for Min & Max Period Hours

The Roster Manager now pre-checks an employee's Clock-in Settings to determine if Min/Max Period Hour alerts apply, significantly speeding up the generation of relevant warnings.

By avoiding unnecessary validations, this enhancement improves rostering speed, especially for larger teams. Users benefit from quicker feedback and fewer delays when scheduling.

Display of Assigned Shifts in Role View Grouping

Assigned shifts no longer appear as unassigned in Role View when the chosen Group By field is empty. The UI now correctly displays the assigned employee.

This prevents confusion and ensures shift ownership is always clearly visible, even when grouping metadata is incomplete. It simplifies auditing and reduces the risk of duplicate or missed allocations.

Mandatory Qualification Overrides in Roster Manager

The permission to override mandatory qualification requirements is now recognised in Roster Manager. This means now when adding, editing, or opening shifts, for either Employee's Role Qualification, or Employee's Location/Department Mandatory Qualification the permission will be enforced in Roster Manager.

Users with the correct permissions can now intentionally override qualification warnings without being blocked, while those without permission are still protected. This supports operational flexibility without compromising governance.

Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Template Manager

Non-Attended Role Defaults Now Set Correctly

Shifts tied to roles configured as “Always flag as 'Non-Attended’” will now automatically inherit this setting when added or edited in Template Manager.

This reduces manual input errors and ensures shifts reflect correct attendance expectations by default. It helps maintain consistency across schedules and reduces compliance risk.

Timesheets

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Break Times Automatically Applied When Creating Timesheets

When adding new timesheets (manually, from default hours, or from rosters), break times are now auto-applied based on award profiles or rostered data.

This saves time and increases accuracy, especially in high-volume environments. It ensures award compliance and reduces the likelihood of incorrect timesheet calculations or payroll errors.

Smooth Timesheet editing

When editing timesheets Timesheet Admin users will no longer receive 404 error responses when lacking permission to view rate breakdowns.

Home Screen

Home > My Team

Shift Bids Pending Count Now More Accurate on Home Screen

The “Shift Bids Pending” tile in the Home > My Team screen now considers all assigned Locations and Departments and includes shifts up to 60 days in the future.

Managers now get a more accurate and actionable count of pending bids, helping them respond faster to workforce needs and avoid missed opportunities.

Integration Central

Management > Advanced> Integration Central

Email Notifications on File Import Task Completion

Users can now opt to receive email notifications when file import tasks in Integration Central complete. Each notification includes the run log as an attachment, helping teams stay informed without waiting on long-running processes. This update boosts productivity by letting users shift focus while maintaining awareness of import progress. Note: run times are reported in UTC, and ad-hoc task names include a local-time timestamp for uniqueness.

Please refer to this help article for related information.

WFM > HF Payroll - Ability to mark employee as payroll tax exempt

Users will now be able to mark employees as payroll tax exempt when Editing employee in Payroll. This enables businesses to manage their employee data and tax filings in a more accurate, fair and compliant manner.

Please refer to this help article for related information.

HF PAYROLL Integration > Protect Termination Reason Data

This update prevents employee sync operations from overwriting a termination reason already set within HF PAYROLL. Organisations can now confidently manage termination information directly in HF PAYROLL without fear of it being unintentionally cleared or replaced by updates from HR or WFM systems. This ensures data integrity and reduces the risk of manual rework in payroll.

Please refer to this help article for related information.

Employee Forwarding > WFM to HF PAYROLL Postcode Sync Fix

With this update, postcodes are now forwarded automatically and consistently, ensuring accurate address data in HF Payroll with no extra user action required. This enhancement streamlines payroll processing, reduces manual corrections, and supports better compliance and data integrity for your organisation.

Please refer to this help artice for related information.

Employee Forwarding > Sync Leave Accrual Start Date to HF PAYROLL

Leave Accrual Start dates are now correctly forwarded to HF PAYROLL when using employee forwarding, whether triggered by webhook or data import. This fix eliminates discrepancies that previously required manual intervention, ensuring accurate leave setup and reducing onboarding friction for new or updated employees.

HF HCM Suite Integration > Address Data Fix for NZ Employees

Employees in New Zealand with personal addresses can now be synced from HR to HF PAYROLL with accuracy. The system no longer sends an invalid “State” field to HF PAYROLL for NZ addresses, preventing sync errors. This reduces manual setup and streamlines the process of creating or updating employee records with international address structures.

Rest API

Integrations > Rest API

Roster Labour Group Data Now Available via GET RosterItems API

The GET RosterItems API now includes the RosterLabourGroup field, making labour group data available in API responses.

This supports improved integration and reporting workflows. Data teams and analysts can now access more granular information programmatically, enabling richer insights and tracking.

Improved API Response for Employee Qualifications Without LDR

The GET /employees/{guidKey}/qualifications API has been enhanced to avoid 403 errors when an employee lacks LDR (Location, Data, Role) details.

This update improves system stability and reliability for API consumers. Integrators can trust more consistent and predictable responses when managing employee qualification data.

Announcement – Humanforce Payroll STP Financial Year End 2025 processing

As Humanforce Payroll Customers prepare for end of financial year 2025 STP processing, we are happy to announce that a few new changes have been made to help streamline and simplify the exercise for payroll teams.

Let’s dive into the product related update, some important information and the handy support resources available.

🔥What's New?

Most of the routines relating to Year End processing have now been automated so that once you finalise the last pay run of the year, there is nothing more to be done.

 Single Touch Payroll (STP) Processing

The data that gets sent to the ATO via a Pay Event each process is employees’ Year-To Date figures. This has removed a few of the processes within Humanforce Payroll that were previously needed to be done by a Payroll Department at Year End. The major change to the process is that you no longer need to produce a Payment Summary or lodge an empdupe file.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As a safeguard measure, Payroll teams are encouraged to add an additional ‘Special Run’ for the second last working day in June (29th June 2025). This will be Humanforce Payroll customers’ last opportunity to include transaction in the final year. If the final run isn’t needed, there is no harm or loss in having it set up as the run can be performed as a blank run.

Guides

To help with end of financial year 2025 processing the following guides have been constructed.

2025 EOFY Processing guide - Check off critical items that may be easily overlooked, for end of financial year payroll processing. In this step-by-step guide, you can follow instructive processing guidance related loading FBT, linking employees to employee numbers, adding a special pay run, reviewing itemised allowances, scheduling month end pay run, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) guide - Want to know if you are set up for STP2 or not, or how to best make corrections after closing off Year End payroll? Or how about how to enter in FBT figures for a terminated employee, or why special a pay run is recommended? Our FAQ guide can give you the clarity you need.

⭐ Why it matters

End of year STP processing is crucial because it ensures that all employee payroll information, including wages, taxes, and superannuation contributions, is reported accurately and timely to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

This streamlined reporting simplifies compliance, reduces paperwork, and minimises the risk of errors or penalties associated with manual end-of-year reporting processes.

In addition, it enhances transparency for employees by providing them with up-to-date and accessible information about their earnings and deductions, aiding in their personal financial management and tax planning.

🏁 Getting Started

Humanforce Payroll customers are advised to follow the STP processing instructions that has been communicated to them via email.

For detailed assistance on end of year Humanforce Payroll STP processing, please access our Help article.

A FAQ guide has also been created to help support and guide Humanforce Payroll customers performing STP end of financial year 2025 processing and is available in this Help article.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to your Humanforce representative.

New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.52

We’re pleased to introduce Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.52.  This release delivers a broad range of improvements across key modules, including Roster Manager, Template Manager and Integrations. We’re also delighted to share that automatic forwarding of employees to Humanforce Payroll is now available for those who wish to opt in for early access.

Read on for all the details!

Release schedule

  • Customers with staging environments will be kept informed of the schedule for release to staging environments
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.52 overnight on Wednesday, 28 May 2025.

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Improved shift sorting

We've added to the sorting criteria for shifts in Roster Manager.  Shifts are now sorted by shift start time, then shift end time. This means that when you have multiple shifts with the same start time and varying end times, they will appear in time order.

New option to edit Labour Group from Role View

When you are grouping by Labour Group in Role View (and are viewing a single day), you are now able to edit a labour group directly from Role View.

Labour Group break minutes in shifts created in bulk

When bulk adding shifts to a labour group and the labour group break minutes is set to 0, the break minutes in the shifts created will default to 0.

Faster loading of Fill shift

We've improved the time it takes to load your employee list when entering the Fill shift screen.

Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Template Manager

New option to display Custom Roster Fields

Custom Roster Fields are now available in Shift detail settings so you can toggle display of each field in the shift tiles on/off as needed, improving visibility of key shift information directly on the template.

Timesheets

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Improved handling of timesheet splits

We’ve improved handling of timesheet splits in scenarios where a timesheet has a correct active break alongside deleted breaks. The timesheet will split successfully if the deleted break start times are later than the first timesheet split's end time.

Payroll

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

Payrun upload to Xero NZ

After processing a payrun in WFM, attempting to do a Direct Upload to Xero API may have failed due to an integration issue. This has been resolved so the upload can complete without issue.

Optimised Cloud Workforce Management payrun processing

Customers will now experience up to 85% faster Cloud WFM payrun processing through a number of released payrun processing enhancements. These include streamlined batch processing of 100 employees, up-front pre-loaded batch processing of critical payrun information, and single call, serialised saving of all payrun transactions.

Employee Management

Management > Employee > Employee > Employee Management
Admin > Security Config > Access Levels

New permission options for controlling visibility of Pay Rate names and rates

The permissions for viewing pay rates within the Employee Management space have been expanded, to provide the option to allow a user to see and change Pay Rates without seeing the actual rate value. This enables more of your team members to help update Pay Rates within an employee's role revision by referencing the Pay Rate name, while keeping the hourly rate ($) information hidden.

Clocking

Improved usability for Shift Transfer

We’ve addressed a limitation in the Employee Self Service workflow when using the Shift Transfer function. This feature now allow users to end their active timesheet and immediately clock a new timesheet with different values (eg, new role or new department) without needing to re-select the Location.

Integration Central

Management > Advanced > Integration Central

Employee forwarding to Humanforce Payroll: early access availability

Automatic forwarding of employees from HR to WFM and Humanforce Payroll, including the employee's current active role and rates, is now available for customers who wish to opt in for early access. If you’re interested in opting in for early access, reach out to your Humanforce contact.

Humanforce HR to WFM

Improved employee data sync of employees with termination dates (such as fixed-term contracts)

With this improvement, employees with a termination date in their profile at the point of creation (such as fixed-term contracts) will be successfully loaded to Humanforce WFM. Employee data will also sync with WFM after termination dates (up to a configured number of days) to ensure the accuracy of final pay processing.

Improved reliability for Qualifications syncing

We’ve improved the reliability of syncing employees' qualifications (that are in non-draft status) from Humanforce HR to WFM. This sync occurs when the Qualification Instance Updated webhook is triggered, or when an employee bulk import is run in Integration Central.

Improved logs of data syncs

Logs for all webhooks (that send data from HR to WFM) have been expanded to include data syncs that were successfully processed without any errors, improving traceability. Previously, only errors were logged.

Field mapping enhancements

Field mappings in Humanforce HR to WFM integration now allow mappings with HR Job.Remuneration fields (where applicable). We’ve also removed irrelevant fields in the mapping drop-downs making it easier to setup accurate field mapping.

File imports: improved handling of empty rows

With this improvement, all empty rows of data will be skipped and a log of these skipped rows provided back to users for review via Integration Central log screens. Further, we have also introduced a maximum row limit per file of 50k.

Datapay NZ: easier mapping and improved tasks

We’ve made mapping Pay-Types for the Humanforce Payroll - Datapay NZ integration much easier by keeping the column names in the table visible at all times.  Previously, the column names would disappear out of view when you scrolled down.

We've strengthened the stability of Datapay NZ tasks to ensure Pay-Type mappings remain intact. Previously, navigating directly to the scheduler page after reopening a saved task could cause configurations to be lost. With this update, managing settings is more intuitive and efficient.

REST API

Role revision improvements

This improvement aligns our API with the web application when it comes to modifying roles for an employee. Specifically, when using the POST and PATCH Employee and Employee/RoleRevision endpoints, the Revision Effective Date can no longer be older than the Employee Start Date.

This ensures Role Revisions are not updated in a way that makes them incompatible when employee data is synchronized with payroll systems.

Award Profile with shifts

It's now possible to find the Award Profile associated with a shift using the Roster Items endpoint. It includes the award profile that was effective for the shift based on the roster date.

For more information and API documentation, visit Humanforce WFM REST API Overview.

New Release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management - Version 6.0.48

We’re excited to announce Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management Version 6.0.48, which includes improvements to display options in Roster Manager and Template Manager, and better default filtering behaviour in Timesheets.  We’re also excited to provide early access to syncing New Zealand bank account details across Humanforce HR, WFM and Humanforce Payroll.

Read on for all the details!

Release Schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday, 20th March 2025.
  • All Humanforce Cloud accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.48 overnight on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025.

Roster Manager and Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager/Template Manager

New option to show Event Export Code in shift tiles

A new option for Event Export Code has been added to the Shift Detail Settings in Roster Manager and Template Manager. This allows you to view Event Export Code within the shift tile.

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

New option to show Employee Code

From Shift view, you are now able to add a column for Employee Code within the Role summary window.

Accurate Group By Location

We've fixed an issue in People view when Group By Location is applied. Employees were being displayed within all locations, instead of only the locations they were assigned to.

Accurate Hours Required calculation and display of Unavailable or on Leave warning

We've resolved an issue that was occurring within the Hours Required warning where non-attended shifts were incorrectly being included within the calculation of total hours worked.

We've resolved an issue where the employee Unavailable or on Leave warning was not shown on the shift details.  Now you will see details of the warning within the shift if the employee is rostered during a period of leave or unavailability, as well as in the Alerts panel.

Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Template Manager

Accurate break validations after Date Effective is edited

We've fixed an issue that was occurring if the Date Effective date in a Template was edited. Previously this would cause incorrect break validations for overnight shifts where the break occurred after midnight.  Now all shifts will validate as expected and successfully import into the roster.

Filter options now displayed as expected

We've fixed an issue where the Event and Function filters were not displaying any options to select when clicking on the dropdown.

Timesheet Admin

Timesheets > Timesheets

Default filtering for improved performance

To improve performance, Unauthorised & No-Shows is now the default filtering applied on page load, when:

  • your browser doesn't have memory of the last filter you used on this page, or
  • the browser recalls your last view was All Timesheets or All Timesheets & No Shows.

We’ve made this change because the Unauthorised & No-Shows view is optimised for the most common Timesheet workflows, and will contribute to faster page performance.

Improvements to splitting timesheets that cross over midnight

We’ve improved the business logic within splitting timesheets that cross over midnight. When split, any splits which fall entirely within the second day were having the DateStart and PayDate values of the original timesheet. This has been rectified so their DateStart and PayDate values are updated to match the second day’s date.

Payroll (Workforce Management)

Export to Sybiz Visipay Payroll added

Humanforce Cloud now supports exporting pay runs to Sybiz Visipay Payroll (Pay Package ID:SYBIZ01). After processing a pay run, you can view it and then select Sybiz Visipay Payrun Export from the Export dropdown to download the data in the appropriate format, streamlining integration with third-party payroll systems.

New option to use Custom folder for exports to SFTP

Customers using the Generic Payroll Config now have the option to use a Custom folder if they have the Export to Humanforce SFTP setting enabled in their Pay Company settings. This can make it faster for 3rd party payroll systems to download the file from a specific location. Please contact Humanforce Support if you are interested in using this option to ensure the shared folder mapping is correct.

Humanforce Payroll

Early access to syncing New Zealand bank account details now available

With this feature, your New Zealand region employees are able to setup their New Zealand bank accounts in HR and have it sync'd through to Workforce Management and (via Workforce Management) to Humanforce Payroll. This feature is now available for early-access customers. Please reach out to your Humanforce contact to enable it in your site.

REST API

We have improved the logic when using POST for a clock out request in the restful API. Specifically to only accept UTC Datetime provided in ClockInTimeUtc and ClockOutTimeUtc fields for clocking requests. If those fields are not provided, we'll use the server UTC time. You can find more information via https://[your-subdomain].humanforce.com/swagger/ui/index (just replace the [your-subdomain] with your company's humanforce domain.

For further background information, visit Humanforce Help for an overview of the Humanforce REST API.

New Release! Humanforce Cloud - Version 6.0.40

We’re excited to announce the latest updates to Humanforce Cloud! This release includes more alert configuration in Humanforce Cloud, and improvements to Timesheets, Payroll, and Leave Approvals to enhance functionality and usability. Read on for all the details.

Release Schedule

  • All Humanforce Cloud accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.40 overnight on Wednesday 27th November 2024.
  • Staging environments were automatically updated on Thursday 14th November 2024.

Holiday season release schedule for Humanforce Cloud

To ensure you are well placed to meet the challenges of operations over the busy holiday season, we are pausing our release schedule for Humanforce Cloud from the release of 6.0.40 on Wednesday 27th November 2024 until Wednesday 8th January 2025.

As usual, we’ll provide advance notice of what the automatic update on 8th January 2025 will include, with release notes provided here on Monday 16th December.

Back Office to Humanforce Cloud

We continue to invest in enabling you to perform key workforce management and payroll tasks faster and more efficiently in Humanforce Cloud. In this release, we’re pleased to bring the following capabilities into Humanforce Cloud.

Support for Restrictive alerts in Roster Manager

Roster Manager now fully supports the Employee Role Restriction and Hours Required alerts when configured as Restrictive.  The Restrictive option prevents saving the shift if it doesn’t meet the alert criteria, making it an error rather than a simple warning. Setup alerts via Admin > System Config > Clock-In Settings.

More roster alert configurations in Web

You can now fully configure the following roster alerts via web:

  • Employee's Age
  • Employee Working Hours, and
  • Employee Gender.

Setup alerts via Admin > System Config > Clock-In Settings. Note that the Employee Gender alert is not yet supported in Roster Manager.

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Improved search and filtering behavior

We’ve fixed an issue where searching by employee name or code combined with Filters did not display correct results. Searches now respect applied filters.

Roster/Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster/Template Manager

Simplified fill shift workflow

When using qualifications within shift definitions, relevant qualifications are automatically applied as filters in the Fill Shift modal, helping you assign shifts to the correct employees more efficiently.

Leave/Availability

Management > Availability > Leave/Availability

Public holiday availability settings

Public holidays can now be marked as unavailable if an employee's requested leave period includes a public holiday, and they have an insufficient leave balance for the selected leave type. Previously the option to mark the PH as unavailable was not being offered in this scenario.

Leave Approvals

Management > Availability > Leave Approvals

Accurate leave balances and payroll processing

We’ve resolved an issue where leave accruals and deductions did not update as expected if linked leave requests were deleted or unauthorised. This update ensures accurate leave balances, payroll processing, and clearer timesheet records.

Enhanced usability

The Leave Approvals screen now displays five requests at a time, with expanded column widths to allow approval actions without scrolling.

An image of the Leave Approvals page annotated with a red line with arrows at each to indicate the expanded column width.

Timesheets

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Real-time change notifications

A warning banner now appears if another user makes changes to timesheets you’re viewing. You can refresh the page to see the updated timesheet, and your applied filters will be retained.

An image of the timesheet modal window with a red line under the new warning banner. The warning banner reads

Improved drop-downs usability

We’ve adjusted shading and selection colours in multi-select drop-downs for better clarity and consistency.

Reports

Reports > Roster > Roster By Roles

Improved Roster By Roles report

Based on user feedback, the Roster By Roles report now uses a portrait layout, includes headers on all pages, and features more defined gridlines for improved readability.

Payroll

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

Support for Alesco Payroll integration

Humanforce Cloud now supports exporting payruns to Alesco Payroll. Once a payrun has been processed in Management > Timesheets > Payroll, click the Export drop-down and select Alesco to download the export file.

Humanforce Payroll Native Integration Enhancements

We’ve enhanced the cost centre mapping capabilities within Humanforce Payroll’s native integration with Humanforce WFM. This update introduces greater flexibility for managing cost centre allocations in payroll exports, helping ensure accurate timesheet data representation, even when employees work in cost centres different from their default.

  • Expanded Scope for Cost Centre Mapping

We’ve expanded the supported scopes available when selecting custom cost centre mappings. The following scopes are now supported, Period, Award Profile, Employment Type, Pay Type, Event, Event Function, and Event Type. This update provides greater flexibility and precision, ensuring all cost centre mapping options are available for accurate payroll data alignment.

  • Default Cost Centre Mapping
You can now use default cost centre values where a combination of timesheet attributes does not resolve to a cost centre map string. Instead of sending a blank string, it will now use the default value (if set).

To set default cost centre values for an existing Humanforce Payroll integration:

    1. Go to Management > Advanced > Integration Central  and find your Humanforce Payroll integration
    2. Click the three dots on the right-hand side, and select Edit
    3. Click Payroll Export to skip ahead to the relevant section
    4. Click Next to go to Payroll Export (page 2 of 2)
    5. Select the checkbox for the relevant cost centre and enter the values in the Default Value field

For further details check out Humanforce Payroll: Native Integration with Humanforce WFM in Humanforce Help. If you have any questions about how setting default cost centre values will impact payroll, submit a request via Humanforce Help.

New Release! Humanforce Cloud - Version 6.0.33

In this release, we’re excited to deliver a few enhancements to Timesheets and the Roster Manager feature, improvements to the Payroll Processing Screen, and more.

Read on for more details!

All Humanforce Cloud accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to bring you the items below, overnight on Wednesday 21st August 2024.

Timesheets

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

The ability to split multiple Timesheets that share the same Start Date is now available, providing a faster method for splitting multiple timesheets.

For more details, visit Splitting Timesheets on Humanforce Help.

When adding or editing a timesheet, the Shift Type dropdown now only returns items that are available under the employee’s effective award profile based on the date of the timesheet. Previously, this drop-down was showing Shift Types based on today’s date.

The Cost fields for all Authorised Timesheets in all expanded groupings will now be refreshed when a related timesheet becomes authorised or when changes are made to its Pay Start or Pay End using the inline edit function, eliminating the need to manually refresh to see the cost impact of changes.

We’ve resolved an issue that caused the date picker in New Timesheets from Rosters to only be partially visible until hovered over. The date picker now appears correctly at all times.

The recent date picker enhancements that provided the new 'Today' button, which caused issues with using the previous/next arrow buttons to move between predefined pay periods, have been reverted, and the issue is resolved.

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Approved leave hours are now included in the CUR hours displayed for employees on People view.

The Status filter now provides the options of Published and Unpublished shifts.

You can now easily unassign all shifts assigned to employees who have approved leave. A new option has been added under Actions > Unassign > All on Leave.

Within Shift view, you can now bulk create unassigned shifts for a single location and department.  When clicking on the + icon to add a shift, you now have the additional option to Add multiple shifts.

Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Template Manager

You can now filter your templates by Location and or Department to easily find the template you need.

Workforce Analytics

Management > Advanced > Workforce Analytics

The Export_Code label in the Timesheet datasource has been renamed to Location_Export_Code to better indicate which field the export code data is related to.

The Timesheet datasource now correctly excludes deleted adhoc allowances from the AdhocAllowanceCount.

Payroll

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

The Payroll Processing Screen now correctly adheres to the permission "Allow viewing/editing payruns processed by other users." Accordingly, it will show payruns processed by other users only if the permission is enabled for the user. Previously, the payroll screen would ignore the permission and show all payruns processed by all users.

Filters for Location, Department, Role, Employment Type,  and Award Profile have now been updated with a new dropdown list that allows easier data selection.

Humanforce Cloud now supports exporting payroll data files for Empower Payroll (EMPOWER_CONFIG1).

Pay Comparison Report

Reports > Payroll > Pay Comparison Report

An issue affecting the selection of employees for Pay Comparison report has been resolved. The screen now displays the Employee Code, and Payroll code along with the employee name.

Messaging

Employee > Messages

Messaging |  An issue affecting the selection of employees when sending a message has been resolved. The screen now displays the Employee Code, and Payroll code along with the employee name.

Announcement – new Humanforce Payroll STP Financial Year End 2024 processing changes

As Humanforce Payroll Customers are preparing for end of financial year 2024 STP processing, we are happy to announce that a few new changes have been made to help streamline and simplify the exercise for payroll teams.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As a safeguard measure, Payroll teams are encouraged to add an additional ‘Special Run’ just before the end of the financial year (i.e. 29th June 2024). This will be Humanforce Payroll customers’ last opportunity to include transaction in the final year. If the final run isn’t needed, there is no harm or loss in having it set up as the run can be performed as a blank run.

Guides

To help with end of financial year 2024 processing the following guides have been constructed.

EOFY Checklist guide - Check off critical items that may be easily overlooked, however are necessary for end of financial year payroll processing. Items such as loading FBT, linking employees to employee numbers, adding a special pay run, reviewing itemised allowances, scheduling month end pay run, and more are covered in our handy check list.

For detailed assistance on end of year Humanforce Payroll STP processing, as well as access to the EOFY Check list guide, please access our Help article.

A FAQ guide has also been created to help support and guide Humanforce Payroll customers performing STP end of financial year 2024 processing and is available in this Help article.

Timesheets

To enhance the user interface and streamline functionality, the redundant 'Authorise' and 'Authorise to roster time' buttons have been removed from the 'Authorised' status view. These buttons are still available in the other status views where they were previously displayed.

Department Rostering

Any new template saved from the department roster will now automatically be set to Active.

We have fixed an issue where shifts were imported into the department roster incorrectly if the location setting "Override week start day," was set to a different day than the system wide setting “Department Roster Week Start Day”.

We have released Chat Beta functionality for mobile to mobile chat.  This is turned on via a feature flag, so will require a support ticket to enable this in the Work app.
