🔥 What’s New?
The SCHADS, Security Services, Nurses, Aged Care and Cleaning Services Library Awards have been updated to align with their Industry Award, as covered on the Fair Work Ombudsman website. Here are the main notable changes;
- automated aspects, such as ordinary hours calculations, overtime rates, penalty rates, breaks between work periods, unpaid breaks, and appropriate allowances.
- Manual processes within Humanforce and payroll are also covered, including rostering practices for ordinary hours, long breaks, paid breaks, higher duties, and any allowances based on worked hours.
- Reconfigurable elements like alternate ordinary hours periods and daily overtime limits are mentioned.
Note: currently, the award is configured for a single employment level scenario, and future updates may include support for higher duties assignments and corresponding pay rates. Please also note, any cycle other than weekly will require a Humanforce Consultant to make an adjustment to your award.
