Back Office to Humanforce WFM (Cloud)
We continue to bring core Back Office functionality into Humanforce WFM (Cloud) to improve efficiency, control, and ease of access. In this release, we’re pleased to introduce:
Manually interpret payrun data at daily level
Management > Timesheets > Payroll
You can now manually edit payrun data for individual days within the payrun screen. This allows you to adjust pay types when timesheet data is correct but payroll interpretation needs modification.
Manual edits can be made in the Daily breakdown of pay types section:
- Click on a date or unit value to open the paytype list
- Pay types with existing values appear at the top of the list for easier access
- Edit the required pay types
- Click OK to save your changes
⚠️ Manual overrides will be cleared if the payrun is reprocessed.
Permission required: Allow manual editing of payroll paytype data
Note: Manual interpretation remains available during pay processing at the timesheet level, where you can change pay types on specific timesheets. This new option at the daily breakdown level offers greater flexibility, allowing you to revise interpreted payrun data independent of the timesheet.
Smartly Payroll export now supported on cloud
Management > Timesheets > Payroll
You can now export pay runs directly to Smartly Payroll (SMARTPAYROLL_CONFIG1) via the Export dropdown in the payrun screen. This makes integration with Smartly Payroll simpler and brings this export functionality to Humanforce WFM (Cloud).
Payroll
Management > Timesheets > Payroll
Download and preview SFTP export files
When exporting to SFTP, you can now download a local preview of the export file directly from the payrun. This gives payroll teams the ability to review files before they are sent to their destination.
Roster Manager
Management > Rostering > Roster Manager
View Labour Group and Custom Roster Fields in shift tiles
Two new options are now available in Shift detail settings to improve visibility of key shift information directly on the roster:
- Labour Group: Display the labour group associated with each shift.
- Custom Roster Fields: Display any custom fields set up for shifts.
When enabled, these fields will be visible on shift tiles in the roster grid, helping managers quickly access important shift details without needing to open individual shifts.
Filter by Labour Group
You can now filter by Labour Group in People view and Role view, making it easier to focus on specific groups during rostering.
Automatically populate Custom Roster Fields when bulk adding shifts
When adding shifts into a Labour Group in bulk, any assigned Custom Roster Fields now automatically populate on new shifts, reducing manual entry.
Employee Management
Management > Employee > Employee Management
New Payroll Tax Exempt setting
A new Payroll tax exempt checkbox has been added to the employee’s Employment details. Use this to indicate whether employees should be excluded from payroll tax calculations.
Permission controlled via: Field Permissions > Employment details
API support: Available via GET, POST and PATCH in the Employees endpoint.
Note: This field is not yet available in integrations, including Humanforce Payroll. Support for integrations will be added in a future release.
REST API
Integrations > REST API
Correct ExportPays value in Employee summary API
The EmployeeSummaryModel (GET /Employees) endpoint now correctly returns the ExportPays value, which reflects the “Include in Payroll Export” setting.
