New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.86

We're pleased to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.86. This release brings a wave of usability improvements to Roster Manager, including clickable status indicators, faster shift assignment, re-sending of shift confirmation requests, remembered groupings and improved alert handling. Leave Approvals and Availability get clearer request details, more flexibility during grey-out periods and faster loading, and kiosk clock-in photos now display in full in Timesheet Admin.

Release Schedule

  • Staging environments: Friday, 25 September, 2026.
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments: Wednesday, 7 October, 2026.

Employee Management

Pay Type Overrides can now be managed in web

Management > Employee > Employee Management

Employee-specific Pay Type Overrides no longer need to be set up in Back Office. You can now create, edit and remove them directly in the web app: open an employee's profile in Employee Management and select View Pay Type Overrides to see their current overrides on the Employee Overrides page.

To manage overrides, your access level needs Maintenance Screens > Award Profiles > Allow editing > Pay Type Overrides.

The new workflow includes several time-savers:

  • Add in bulk. When adding an override, list additional employees in the Employee(s) field to apply the same override to several people at once.
  • Copy to other employees. Select Copy to other employee(s) on an override to apply it to other employees without re-entering it from scratch.
  • See the full picture. Clear the employee filter on the Employee Overrides page to view overrides across all employees you have access to.

You'll also be warned if a selected employee already has an override for the pay type you're adding. Overrides are best reserved for genuine employee-specific exceptions; if the same change applies to a whole group, update the award profile instead.

Rostering & Templates

Status indicators are now clickable to toggle roster filters

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

The status indicators along the bottom of Roster Manager are now clickable. Selecting an indicator instantly applies or clears the matching filter, so you can move between views of assigned, unassigned, confirmed, published and other shift states in a single click instead of building each filter manually.

New entry points to assign employees to unassigned shifts

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Assigning employees to unassigned shifts in the Shift view is now quicker. A new Assign All Shifts option is available in the shift grid menu, with a matching button in the shift detail modal, and both open the existing Assign Employees workflow with your relevant shifts ready to assign. All existing assignment permissions continue to apply.

Re-send shift confirmation requests individually or in bulk

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

You can now follow up on shifts that are still waiting for confirmation. When you request confirmation for shifts that already have an open request, Roster Manager lets you choose to resend to all of them or send only new requests, so you can chase unresponsive employees without unconfirming shifts or losing your filtered view.

Roster alerts now show configured alert names and custom messages

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Alerts in Roster Manager now display the alert name you've configured on shift tooltips and in the notifications panel, and your custom alert message appears as the alert detail when enabled, so roster alerts match the names and messages you've configuring within Clock-in Settings, rather than generic alert labels.

Availability and Leave alert now covers employees who are unavailable by default

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

The Availability and Leave alert in Roster Manager now also triggers for employees with no availability entries when the Employee is Unavailable by default setting is enabled, so shifts rostered against these employees are correctly flagged for review.

New shifts appear immediately when Location or Department grouping is applied

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Newly added shifts now appear immediately in the People and Role views of Roster Manager when Location or Department grouping is applied, so you no longer need to refresh the page to see the shift you've just added.

Roster Manager now remembers your expanded groups

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Roster Manager now remembers which groups you've expanded as you work. Your expanded groups stay open when you switch between the Shift, People and Role views, and when you move away from the roster and return within the same session, so you no longer lose your place in large rosters.

Leave & Availability

Requested hours now display in the Leave Request Details popup

Management > Availability > Leave Approvals

The Leave Request Details popup in Leave Approvals now displays the requested hours value alongside the hours label, for example 8 hrs, so managers can see the full detail of a leave request without cross-checking the main list.

Set Available or Preferred availability during grey-out periods

Management > Availability > Staff Availability

Employees can now set Available or Preferred availability on days covered by a grey-out period, even when the maximum number of employees on leave has been reached, as these entries do not affect the grey-out maximum. Leave requests and Unavailable entries continue to follow your existing grey-out settings.

Faster loading when opening the Leave/Availability dialog

Management > Availability > Staff Availability

Opening the Leave/Availability dialog is now faster, so adding or updating an employee's leave and availability takes noticeably less time.

Timesheets

Clock-in photos now display in full in the Timesheet Information modal

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

The clock-in photo in the Timesheet Information modal now displays the full image rather than a cropped view, so you can accurately verify which employee clocked in, regardless of the kiosk camera's orientation.
