New Release! Work App - Version 1.29
We're excited to announce Work App Version 1.29, headlined by Timesheet Confirmation, which lets workers check and verify the accuracy of their work and break hours before payday. This release also brings shift offer notifications that take you straight to the offer and more reliable push notifications, plus a range of resolved issues across sign-in, leave, timesheets, clocking, and notifications.
Release Schedule
iOS and Android Work App v1.29 is expected to be available in the week of 19th October 2026.
Timesheet Confirmation
Earnings
Employees can now confirm their timesheets directly from the Earnings screen in the Work app. Previously, this was only available in the Humanforce (Legacy) app.
Employees can review their work hours, leave hours and unpaid breaks in the timesheet list view, then confirm them in a few taps. If something looks wrong, they can message their manager or payroll team straight from the same screen.
Why it matters: Confirming hours at the source means fewer payroll corrections and faster approvals. It also gives you a clear record of when each employee agreed their hours were accurate, which supports annualised wage requirements and compliance. Managers spend less time chasing signatures and more time on other work.
Learn more: Sending Timesheet Confirmation Requests (for setup) and Confirm your Timesheets (for employees).
Review saved attachments while editing timesheets
Home > Timesheets
When editing a timesheet that already has attachments, you can now tap a saved attachment to open and preview it (iOS and Android).
Shift Offer Notifications, Straight to the Offer
Notifications > Shift offers
Tapping a shift offer push notification now opens the offer detail screen directly. If the offer is no longer available, the app says so clearly. If you work across multiple employers, you'll be prompted to switch to the right employer first.
Turn On Notifications
Home > Turn on notifications
If notifications are switched off on your phone, a card on Home explains what you might miss and takes you to settings to turn them back on.
Easier Non-Rostered Clock-in
Clocking
Area, Event and Function fields are hidden when your location doesn't use them. Ability to search on events has also been added (iOS).
Resolved Issues
Signing in and notifications
Sign in
Some employees with active accounts were told their email or password was wrong, even after a password reset. Signing in now works for these accounts.
Previously, some people appeared to sign in and were then signed straight back out. The app now repairs the link to their employer automatically where it can, and otherwise shows a clear message.
Employees using single sign-on who were locked out after their company changed the capitalisation of their sign-in name can now sign in without needing support to fix their account.
Messages > Notifications
Notifications with a lot of detail sometimes failed to arrive. They are now trimmed to fit so they are delivered.
Earnings and Timesheets
Earnings
The Payslip button on the Earnings tab can now be tapped again (iOS).
Home > Timesheets
Function no longer becomes editable after you add an Event when you don't have permission to edit it (Android).
Leave
Schedule > Leave
Leave requests that fail a validation check now show the actual reason instead of a generic "Something went wrong" message (iOS).
Cancelling leave inside the minimum notice period now explains the notice rule, rather than saying you don't have permission (Android).
When custom hours are missing for several days of a leave request, the message now covers all affected days, not just the first.
Profile
Profile
The back button no longer opens the profile photo picker by mistake (Android).
Choosing "Pick another" for your profile photo now returns you to your profile after you confirm (Android).
Attendance
Home > Attendance
Going back after sending a shift offer now returns you to the Department screen, not the offer screen you just finished (Android).
