New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.57

We’re excited to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.57. This version brings meaningful improvements across rostering, timesheets, APIs, and user interface functionality. Key updates include stricter roster alert controls, expanded filtering options, qualification enforcement, improved shift bid tracking, and a smoother API and timesheet experience. These enhancements reduce user error, support compliance, improve performance, give managers better control over planning and approvals, and through newly introduced integrations, system administrators and payroll professionals benefit from improved data transparency, accuracy, and control.

Release schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday, 24th July 2025
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.57 overnight on Wednesday, 6th Aug 2025

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Rostering alert blocking shift assignments with conflicting leave or unavailability

Users assigning shifts in Roster Manager will now experience a blocking alert (rather than just a warning) when trying to assign an employee who is unavailable or on leave, if they have the Restrictive flag checked in the Roster Alert configuration.

This prevents accidental scheduling conflicts, helping managers avoid operational gaps and reducing the chance of employee dissatisfaction or disputes. It ensures only available and eligible staff are rostered, ensuring better operations and compliance.

New Filter by Location Group

A “Location Group” filter has been added to all Roster Manager views, enhancing the recently introduced Group By “Location Group & Location” option.

This makes it easier for large or multi-site organisations to focus on specific groupings within their scheduling operations. Managers can now streamline their view, making it easier to edit or analyse rosters by location groups.

Faster Notifications for Min & Max Period Hours

The Roster Manager now pre-checks an employee's Clock-in Settings to determine if Min/Max Period Hour alerts apply, significantly speeding up the generation of relevant warnings.

By avoiding unnecessary validations, this enhancement improves rostering speed, especially for larger teams. Users benefit from quicker feedback and fewer delays when scheduling.

Display of Assigned Shifts in Role View Grouping

Assigned shifts no longer appear as unassigned in Role View when the chosen Group By field is empty. The UI now correctly displays the assigned employee.

This prevents confusion and ensures shift ownership is always clearly visible, even when grouping metadata is incomplete. It simplifies auditing and reduces the risk of duplicate or missed allocations.

Mandatory Qualification Overrides in Roster Manager

The permission to override mandatory qualification requirements is now recognised in Roster Manager. This means now when adding, editing, or opening shifts, for either Employee's Role Qualification, or Employee's Location/Department Mandatory Qualification the permission will be enforced in Roster Manager.

Users with the correct permissions can now intentionally override qualification warnings without being blocked, while those without permission are still protected. This supports operational flexibility without compromising governance.

Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Template Manager

Non-Attended Role Defaults Now Set Correctly

Shifts tied to roles configured as “Always flag as 'Non-Attended’” will now automatically inherit this setting when added or edited in Template Manager.

This reduces manual input errors and ensures shifts reflect correct attendance expectations by default. It helps maintain consistency across schedules and reduces compliance risk.

Timesheets

Management > Timesheets > Timesheets

Break Times Automatically Applied When Creating Timesheets

When adding new timesheets (manually, from default hours, or from rosters), break times are now auto-applied based on award profiles or rostered data.

This saves time and increases accuracy, especially in high-volume environments. It ensures award compliance and reduces the likelihood of incorrect timesheet calculations or payroll errors.

Smooth Timesheet editing

When editing timesheets Timesheet Admin users will no longer receive 404 error responses when lacking permission to view rate breakdowns.

Home Screen

Home > My Team

Shift Bids Pending Count Now More Accurate on Home Screen

The “Shift Bids Pending” tile in the Home > My Team screen now considers all assigned Locations and Departments and includes shifts up to 60 days in the future.

Managers now get a more accurate and actionable count of pending bids, helping them respond faster to workforce needs and avoid missed opportunities.

Integration Central

Management > Advanced> Integration Central

Email Notifications on File Import Task Completion

Users can now opt to receive email notifications when file import tasks in Integration Central complete. Each notification includes the run log as an attachment, helping teams stay informed without waiting on long-running processes. This update boosts productivity by letting users shift focus while maintaining awareness of import progress. Note: run times are reported in UTC, and ad-hoc task names include a local-time timestamp for uniqueness.

Please refer to this help article for related information.

WFM > HF Payroll - Ability to mark employee as payroll tax exempt

Users will now be able to mark employees as payroll tax exempt when Editing employee in Payroll. This enables businesses to manage their employee data and tax filings in a more accurate, fair and compliant manner.

Please refer to this help article for related information.

HF PAYROLL Integration > Protect Termination Reason Data

This update prevents employee sync operations from overwriting a termination reason already set within HF PAYROLL. Organisations can now confidently manage termination information directly in HF PAYROLL without fear of it being unintentionally cleared or replaced by updates from HR or WFM systems. This ensures data integrity and reduces the risk of manual rework in payroll.

Please refer to this help article for related information.

Employee Forwarding > WFM to HF PAYROLL Postcode Sync Fix

With this update, postcodes are now forwarded automatically and consistently, ensuring accurate address data in HF Payroll with no extra user action required. This enhancement streamlines payroll processing, reduces manual corrections, and supports better compliance and data integrity for your organisation.

Please refer to this help artice for related information.

Employee Forwarding > Sync Leave Accrual Start Date to HF PAYROLL

Leave Accrual Start dates are now correctly forwarded to HF PAYROLL when using employee forwarding, whether triggered by webhook or data import. This fix eliminates discrepancies that previously required manual intervention, ensuring accurate leave setup and reducing onboarding friction for new or updated employees.

HF HCM Suite Integration > Address Data Fix for NZ Employees

Employees in New Zealand with personal addresses can now be synced from HR to HF PAYROLL with accuracy. The system no longer sends an invalid “State” field to HF PAYROLL for NZ addresses, preventing sync errors. This reduces manual setup and streamlines the process of creating or updating employee records with international address structures.

Rest API

Integrations > Rest API

Roster Labour Group Data Now Available via GET RosterItems API

The GET RosterItems API now includes the RosterLabourGroup field, making labour group data available in API responses.

This supports improved integration and reporting workflows. Data teams and analysts can now access more granular information programmatically, enabling richer insights and tracking.

Improved API Response for Employee Qualifications Without LDR

The GET /employees/{guidKey}/qualifications API has been enhanced to avoid 403 errors when an employee lacks LDR (Location, Data, Role) details.

This update improves system stability and reliability for API consumers. Integrators can trust more consistent and predictable responses when managing employee qualification data.

New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.56

We’re excited to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.56, featuring optimisations to data retrieval, enhancements to data protections, improved handling of payrate edits, REST API improvements and more. These updates help improve the speed, stability, and clarity of your core workflows, enabling smoother operations for workforce managers, payroll administrators, and integration teams.

Release schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Thursday, 10 July 2025
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.56 overnight on Wednesday, 23 July 2025

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Bulk Add Shifts Across Multiple Days in Roster and Template Manager

Creating recurring shifts across your open roster period is now faster and more flexible. The Bulk Add Shifts workflow in both Roster Manager and Template Manager now supports multi-date selection, allowing you to quickly apply the same shift pattern across several dates within your open roster range, for example, every Saturday for the next four weeks.

Just select the days you want, complete your shift details once, and all selected days will be populated with those shifts, saving you time and reducing repetitive input.

This enhancement is perfect for setting up repeat patterns with fewer clicks and greater accuracy.

New Grouping Option: Location Group + Location

We’ve added a new “Group By” view in both Shift and People views within Roster Manager: group by Location Group and Location. This makes it easier to visualise and manage rosters that span multiple sites or departments, based on your organisational structure.

Note: this is already available in Role view.

Speed boost for Confirm and Read-Only shift updates

System performance has been enhanced when using the Confirm and Read-Only options for bulk shift updates. Managers can now apply updates more efficiently across all shifts with less system strain, saving time during high-volume rostering tasks.

Improved location visibility when creating shifts

In People View, managers will now only see employee locations they are authorised to view. This closes a gap where default employee locations were being returned even without visibility, preventing unintended shift creation.

Home Screen

Home > My Team

Quick Access to Unpublished Shifts in Roster Manager

The “Unpublished Shifts” tile in the My Team home screen now takes users directly to Roster Manager (where available). This makes it easier for managers to jump straight into action and manage pending shifts using Humanforce’s recommended rostering tool. Users without access will still be redirected to Employee Roster.

Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Template Manager

Generate rosters directly from a template

You can now generate a roster directly from within Template Manager, giving you more flexibility to manage scheduling from a central location. A new Generate option is available via the kebab menu for standard templates (support for rolling and rotating templates is coming soon).
This action is only available for templates with lengths in multiples of full weeks (e.g. 7, 14, 28 days), and requires access to all Locations and Departments included in the template.
When generating, you’ll be prompted to confirm the deletion of any existing rosters that overlap with the same Location and Department combinations—other shifts will remain unaffected.

Tip: This feature requires the permission:
Rostering > Allow editing > Templates > Generate roster from template

This enhancement streamlines the workflow for building and updating rosters from predefined patterns, especially when managing complex or recurring schedules.

Timesheet Daily Authorisation

Management > Timesheets > Daily Authorisation

Improved bulk split workflow for greater clarity

Improved bulk split workflow from the Daily Authorisation screen to ensure users are returned to the Daily Authorisation screen after saving or cancelling. This prevents confusion caused by redirection to the Timesheet screen and avoids displaying Daily Auth data in the wrong context.

Payroll

Management > Timesheets > Payroll

Faster payroll processing for large employee batches

We’ve improved how rosters and timesheets are loaded during payroll runs, prefetching this data in bulk per batch to help reduce system load. This significantly improves your payroll processing time, especially for large workforces.

Bulk shift costing for improved performance

The shift costing service has been refactored to handle multiple shifts at once. This enhancement reduces database hits during costing operations, leading to faster, more efficient calculations across both rosters and timesheets, helping to streamline your payroll preparation.

Pay Rates

Admin > Award Config > Rates

Smarter bulk pay rate updates with cleaner revision tracking

We’ve overhauled the logic behind bulk pay rate updates to ensure accurate handling of both future and historical revisions. This means:

  • No duplicate revisions when editing a rate for a matching effective date
  • Clean audit trails with properly backdated or forward-dated changes
  • Inherited charge-out rates for consistency in billing
  • Accurate percentage or fixed increases based on the correct prior revision

These improvements helps to reduce errors, save time, and ensure data integrity for payroll and compliance.

Improved handling of single and bulk pay rate changes to support audit logs

We’ve improved pay rate management by making Rate, Charge Out Rate, and Effective Date fields read-only when editing single existing pay rates. This change prevents unintentional updates to the existing rate and ensures users manage changes through proper pay rate revision workflows, maintaining accurate audit history.

For more information, check out the Maintain Pay Rates in Humanforce WFM help article.

Employee Management

Management > Employee > Employee Management

Limit one primary contact per employee in WFM

This change ensures that WFM supports only one primary contact per employee, resolving integration issues. Existing data has been cleaned up using the latest edit time to set a single primary contact, and validations have been added to prevent multiple primaries. No impact to WFM Work App, Thrive, or existing payroll imports.

Access Levels

Admin > Security Config > Access Levels

Improved alignment between field-level permissions and report visibility

We’ve enhanced security and privacy in Workforce Analytics by aligning employee field-level permissions with field visibility in key reports. Users with restricted access will no longer see hidden personal fields in the Employee Qualification Data, Employee Basic Details, and Employee Extended Details reports. This update helps prevent unintended data exposure and aligns report visibility with user permissions.

More accurate leave balance visibility controls

We’ve refined the logic behind the “Hide balance for self or others” setting to ensure it applies only to the specific leave shift types it’s enabled for. Previously, enabling this option could unintentionally hide all leave balances. Now, you get precise control over what’s visible, protecting privacy without restricting access to unrelated leave information.

Quicker load times for the Access Levels table

Managing lots of Access Levels? This change delivers improved performance of the Access Level screen by optimising data retrieval. Enjoy quicker load times and improved efficiency when managing a large number of access levels.

REST API

Employee > Employee Contacts
Post/api/1.0/employees/{guidKey}/employeeContacts
Patch/api/1.0/employees/{guidKey}/employeeContacts/{employeeContactGuidKey}

Limit one primary contact per employee in WFM

This change ensures that WFM supports only one primary contact per employee, resolving integration issues. Both post and patch employee contacts will enforce this logic and will return an error if more than one primary contact is created.

Existing data has been cleaned up using the latest edit time to set a single primary contact, and validations have been added to prevent multiple primaries.

New Release! Humanforce HR (intelliHR) June Update

Our June 2025 release for Humanforce HR (formerly known as intelliHR) focuses on helping your teams build more consistent records, simplify integrations, and improve platform usability. With enhancements to Job Updates, Custom Fields, and Contracts, as well as a number of improvements and bug fixes, your HR and operational teams will save time, maintain better records and enjoy a smoother experience.

Let’s dive in!

Feature Updates

Job Update Reasons and Notes Now Enabled by Default

We’ve made a small but impactful change to improve tracking and auditing across your platform: Job Update Reasons and Notes are now switched on by default for all customers.

Why does this matter? Requiring a reason when updating a job is an easy step to miss, yet it’s essential for understanding and auditing changes over time. By enabling this automatically, your team can more consistently track job changes, reduce manual errors, and strengthen your compliance records without extra admin.

Contract Variables Expanded

We’ve added a wide range of new variables to Contract Templates, including Contract Issue Date, Humanforce HR IDs, Employee Numbers, Pay Steps, Custom Fields, Additions to Base & Total, Breakdowns, and more. These additions give you greater flexibility and precision when generating contracts. For a full list of available variables, visit the Contract Template Variables page.

Improved Contract Date Formatting
All dates in contract templates will now display with full month names, for example, 01 December 2025 instead of 01 Dec 2025, helping to ensure greater clarity and consistency across your contracts.

Enhanced Pending Job Updates Page
We’ve made improvements to the Pending Job Updates page to ensure your team has all the information they need to confidently review and action pending changes as part of your Job Approval process. These updates help streamline approvals, reduce delays, and ensure better visibility into key job changes.

Single Select Custom Fields Made Simpler

Previously, configuring custom fields required at least two options to be set up — which could complicate integrations or data mapping. We’ve removed this restriction, so now Humanforce suite customers will have a smoother experience when managing field configurations.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Improved PDF printing for contracts - Contracts now print to PDF with all colours and logos included, ensuring a more polished presentation for your team and new hires.

Expanded permissions for issuing contracts - Users with people.contracts.manage#subordinates permission can now issue contracts directly from the Onboarding Overview page.

Smoother contract search - Fixed a UI issue that caused the search bar in Contracts and Permissions to reload unexpectedly, making searches faster and more reliable.

Corrected probation dates on ended jobs - Jobs ending before the probation end date will now display accurately on the job timeline.

Training events now display correctly - Resolved a bug that caused duplicate training events on employee profiles when using bulk imports.

Large qualification exports improved - Fixed an issue where large qualification exports would time out. Datasets over 50,000 records will now export successfully (may take up to 30 seconds).

Multi Select Job Custom Field labels fixed - Labels now display correctly on the Job Update page.

Fixed table borders in contract templates - Tables in the contract template editor now display with visible borders by default. If you prefer white borders, simply paste in a table from Word and retain the formatting.

Job Update Approval flow improved - We’ve resolved an issue where customers without assigned approvers couldn’t proceed with job changes. Now, you’ll only be able to turn on Job Update Approvals once approvers are defined, ensuring a smooth approval workflow for your team.

New release! Humanforce Cloud Workforce Management – Version 6.0.55

We’re excited to announce the release of Humanforce Workforce Management (Cloud) version 6.0.55, featuring critical performance upgrades, improved reliability across rostering and timesheets, and enhancements to data syncing and reporting. These updates help improve the speed, stability, and clarity of your core workflows, enabling smoother operations for workforce managers, payroll administrators, and integration teams.

Release schedule

  • Staging environments were updated on Monday, 30 June 2025
  • All Humanforce WFM (Cloud) accounts and UAT environments will be automatically updated to version 6.0.55 overnight on Wednesday, 9 July 2025

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

Faster load time for Role view

To improve page load speed for teams managing complex rosters, shift comments now load only when users click the comment icon on a shift tile. This reduces the amount of data fetched upfront while still maintaining access to key notes and annotations as needed.

Department and role prefilled on Add Shift

When adding shifts with Group by Location enabled, the Department and/or Role will now auto-populate if only one option is available for the selected Location. This reduces manual entry, streamlines shift creation, and helps ensure data consistency.

Improved performance for large datasets

We’ve optimised system performance for Role View and Roster Notifications by compressing large datasets across both Roster Manager and Template Manager. This reduces bandwidth usage and improves responsiveness for teams managing extensive rosters.

Timesheets

Management > Timesheets > Timesheet Admin

Faster bulk authorisation

Bulk authorisation now uses a single preloaded dataset to check for overlapping times, reducing database calls. This enhances system performance during high-volume approvals and saves time for payroll and rostering teams.

Improved error handling for active timesheets during bulk edit

A new warning message appears when active (in-progress) timesheets are included in a bulk edit selection. This prevents internal errors and helps users better understand which timesheets can be edited safely.

Better handling for deleted shift types

If a timesheet is linked to a deleted shift type, the system now displays a clear warning instead of failing with an error. This improves reliability and helps administrators quickly identify and correct outdated or invalid records.

Home

Home > My Team

Faster load time for My Team overview

We’ve improved how the My Team dashboard retrieves and processes data, reducing the time it takes for managers to view their team’s current status. This allows for quicker insights and more responsive decision-making.

Messages

Employee > Messages

Messaging screen performance improvements

The Messaging screen now loads significantly faster thanks to optimised message retrieval processes. This enhancement improves the overall user experience when sending or reviewing messages within the platform.

Reports

Reports > Payroll > Pay Comparison

Corrected format for Preview Payroll Data

We’ve resolved an issue where using the Preview Payroll Data option with Period Totals generated a Comparison-format report. This fix ensures the report is delivered in the correct plain Preview format, giving payroll teams a clean, high-level view of employee totals without unnecessary comparison data.

REST API

Integrations > REST API

Get Templates endpoint – Last Edit filter

The Get Roster Templates endpoint now supports a Last Edit filter, allowing connected systems to retrieve only templates or items updated since the last sync. This enhancement reduces integration load, speeds up processing, and improves efficiency for external data syncs.

This enhancement streamlines the process of adjusting timesheets, reducing wait times and improving overall efficiency when managing employee records.

Roster Manager

Management > Rostering > Roster Manager

  1. Go to Management > Rostering > Roster Manager
  2. Click Shift in the view picker
  3. For the desired date in the roster grid, click the + icon
  4. Select Add multiple shifts

  6. Enter the number of shifts for each role (and any other shift details you require)
  7. Click Add and Assign Shifts.

The Assign Employees window will open, allowing you to assign multiple shifts in the same flow.

Location Grouping availability in Rostering

We’re pleased to announce that we have introduced a new Group By option in Roster Manager particularly beneficial for organisations with comprehensive location groups. This Location Grouping feature is now available in rostering, enhancing scheduling capabilities for administrators and managers. Roster Managers will now benefit from enhanced rostering control through more targeted filtering and grouping of company portfolios or subgroups during rostering operations. In addition to this, managers will experience more streamlined scheduling across multiple related locations through the newly introduced Location grouping and filtering options.

Stay tuned for the delivery of the same option in both Shift and People view soon.

Continued performance improvements

We continue to invest in optimising the performance of Roster Manager, introducing changes to make publishing or unpublishing all shifts faster and more efficient for you.

Stronger validation against employment start dates

We've added additional validation to prevent employees from being rostered for a shift prior to their employment start date. This enhanced validation capability ensures employees are not rostered ahead of their employment start dates, whilst increases employee pay accuracy and compliance confidence.

Employee Management

Management > Employee > Employee Management

Easier employee role set-up with the display of selected roles

Back Office to Humanforce WFM (Cloud): We continue to bring core Back Office functionality into Humanforce WFM (Cloud) to improve efficiency, control, and ease of access. In this release, we’re pleased to introduce, easier employee role set-up with the display of selected roles.

In the Roles and Profiles table within the Employee Management screen, any roles that have already been selected for an employee will now appear at the top of the list. This means that when setting up or editing employee Location, Department or Roles information, you will no longer need to scroll through a long list to find the roles that matter. This update helps you quickly identify and manage the relevant roles, making role revision faster and more intuitive.

Pay rate dropdown performance improvements

We’ve enhanced the Pay Rate selection experience in the Employee Management screen by significantly improving the loading time of the Pay Rate dropdown when editing a Role Revision. With this improvement, the options now load much faster, making the process of updating roles and pay rates more efficient and responsive. This helps managers complete employee updates more quickly and with ease.

Workforce Analytics

New exclude inactive templates filter in Roster Templates Report

Management > Advanced > Workforce analytics

You can now filter out inactive templates in the Roster Templates (built-in) report within Workforce Analytics. We’ve added a new filter option to the report’s dashboard parameters. After clicking the Parameters button, you’ll see the option to exclude inactive templates, giving you greater control over the data displayed. This update helps you focus only on current and active roster templates, making your reports more relevant, cleaner, and easier to interpret.

Home

To Do List performance improvement

Home > View > My Team

We’ve made a performance improvement to the "My Team" view on the WFM Home Screen, specifically enhancing how quickly the To Do list loads. This update optimises the way Expiries information is fetched, resulting in a smoother and slightly faster loading experience. Managers can now access their team’s tasks more efficiently, helping them stay on top of important actions without unnecessary delays.

Announcement – Humanforce Payroll STP Financial Year End 2025 processing

As Humanforce Payroll Customers prepare for end of financial year 2025 STP processing, we are happy to announce that a few new changes have been made to help streamline and simplify the exercise for payroll teams.

Let’s dive into the product related update, some important information and the handy support resources available.

🔥What's New?

Most of the routines relating to Year End processing have now been automated so that once you finalise the last pay run of the year, there is nothing more to be done.

 Single Touch Payroll (STP) Processing

The data that gets sent to the ATO via a Pay Event each process is employees’ Year-To Date figures. This has removed a few of the processes within Humanforce Payroll that were previously needed to be done by a Payroll Department at Year End. The major change to the process is that you no longer need to produce a Payment Summary or lodge an empdupe file.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As a safeguard measure, Payroll teams are encouraged to add an additional ‘Special Run’ for the second last working day in June (29th June 2025). This will be Humanforce Payroll customers’ last opportunity to include transaction in the final year. If the final run isn’t needed, there is no harm or loss in having it set up as the run can be performed as a blank run.

Guides

To help with end of financial year 2025 processing the following guides have been constructed.

2025 EOFY Processing guide - Check off critical items that may be easily overlooked, for end of financial year payroll processing. In this step-by-step guide, you can follow instructive processing guidance related loading FBT, linking employees to employee numbers, adding a special pay run, reviewing itemised allowances, scheduling month end pay run, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) guide - Want to know if you are set up for STP2 or not, or how to best make corrections after closing off Year End payroll? Or how about how to enter in FBT figures for a terminated employee, or why special a pay run is recommended? Our FAQ guide can give you the clarity you need.

⭐ Why it matters

End of year STP processing is crucial because it ensures that all employee payroll information, including wages, taxes, and superannuation contributions, is reported accurately and timely to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

This streamlined reporting simplifies compliance, reduces paperwork, and minimises the risk of errors or penalties associated with manual end-of-year reporting processes.

In addition, it enhances transparency for employees by providing them with up-to-date and accessible information about their earnings and deductions, aiding in their personal financial management and tax planning.

🏁 Getting Started

Humanforce Payroll customers are advised to follow the STP processing instructions that has been communicated to them via email.

For detailed assistance on end of year Humanforce Payroll STP processing, please access our Help article.

A FAQ guide has also been created to help support and guide Humanforce Payroll customers performing STP end of financial year 2025 processing and is available in this Help article.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to your Humanforce representative.

Area filter award profile conditions applied to shifts

Rules with "Area" filter special conditions will now successfully be applied in Employee/Dept Rostering when the relevant Area is selected for an assigned shift. This means when award profiles are set up with a special condition using the area filter, shifts will now correctly be applied to these set conditions.

Optimised Template importing processing

Roster managers will experience faster template import processing when importing a template into an existing roster period with large dataset. Roster Managers will no longer experience temporary page freezing or inability switch between view tabs, whilst reducing the overall time it takes to import a template into Roster Manager.

Template Manager

Management > Rostering > Template Manager

Grouping visibility with shift deletion

When a "Group by" option is applied and shifts are deleted, the grouping will now be automatically removed from the template immediately, without requiring a page refresh.

Back Office to Humanforce WFM (Cloud)

We continue to bring core Back Office functionality into Humanforce WFM (Cloud) to improve efficiency, control, and ease of access. In this release, we’re pleased to introduce:

Roster and Timesheet charge out reporting in Workforce Analytics

Workforce Analytics now contains additional Roster and Timesheet charge out reporting data for enhanced workforce reporting capability. Timesheet managers will now be able to access "Roster Charge Out Report" and "Timesheet Charge Out Report" capability in Workforce Analytics to perform more detailed reporting through Cloud WFM, and migrate away from Back Office (TimeTarget) reporting operations.

Changing Default list filter from Unauthorised & No-Shows

“Unauthorised & No-Shows” is no longer the default filter applied to pages being loaded when either your browser does not have memory of the last filter used on the page, or when the browser recalls the last view was “All Timesheets” or “All Timesheets & No Shows”.

Hourly rates displayed on timesheet admin

We now ensure that when the Hourly Rate field is included in the table, the hourly rate value displayed is based on the Employee's assigned Pay Rate or the Override rate that was applicable for the timesheet date.

REST API

Effective Award Profile per date of timesheet

We have improved a query for the “GET /Timesheets” endpoint to ensure the API returns the most accurate effective award profile per date of timesheet. The “GET /Timesheets” endpoint will now return the correct effective award profile per date of timesheet.

Payroll Integrations

Chris21 Payroll Export - Weekend counter column addition

We have now added Weekend counter exporting data as an additional column for Chris21 payroll export. Reporting managers will be able to access this additional information when this option is enabled from the Pay Company configuration.

Exporting pay runs to Pay Global Payroll

Humanforce Cloud now supports exporting pay runs to Pay Global Payroll (PAYGLOBAL_CONFIG1, PAYGLOBAL_DEMO). After processing a pay run, you can view it and then select “Pay Global Payrun Export” from the Export dropdown to download the data in the appropriate format, streamlining integration with third-party payroll systems.

New Release - Humanforce Talent (LiveHire) May update

We are excited to announce we are releasing some new capabilities associated with Humanforce Talent’s Indeed Apply solution, supporting Indeed’s Disposition Sync and the identification of EEO questions (US Only) for clients using Indeed Apply.

We’ve also expanded the existing partnership between Humanforce and WalkMe, bringing the WalkMe product into the Humanforce Talent solution to power in-platform announcements and user flows.

In addition, we’ve released a number of performance improvements, focusing on the Employer Comms Inbox and Talent Community Careers pages, as well as several UI improvements to the display of various platform components.

Let’s dive into the details!

Indeed Apply Disposition Sync

We have released a companion feature to the existing Indeed Apply integration functionality. As a result of this change, existing customers utilising Indeed Apply have been advised that the processing of candidate information for Indeed Apply applications will change slightly.

When candidates apply to jobs posted on Humanforce Talent using Indeed Apply, Humanforce Talent will now sync the candidate status with Indeed through a process known as ‘Disposition Sync’.

All Humanforce Talent statuses will be mapped to a corresponding Indeed Disposition Sync status, allowing for any status move occurring in relation to Indeed Apply candidates within Humanforce Talent to be reflected in Indeed. Apart from the status, only an Indeed ID will be transferred to Indeed, no other PII or candidate application information will be used.

The use of the Indeed Integration is at all times governed by Indeed’s terms of service, Indeed’s cookie policy, and privacy policy. Disposition Data will be transferred to Indeed as data controller in accordance with Indeed’s privacy policy and Humanforce customers are assured that application data processed through Humanforce Talent’s integration with Indeed Apply, will only be relayed back to Indeed, and continues to adhere to existing Humanforce customer data protection policies.

Humanforce Talent customers utilising Indeed Apply can gain greater application tracking capability from Indeed, empowering talent attraction teams with greater candidate intelligence and insight.

This new capability can be applied automatically when enabling Indeed Apply for Humanforce customers, so there is no requirement for customers to activate or perform any configuration.

If you would like to opt-out of this element of the Indeed Apply solution for any reason, simply mention this to your account manager when requesting the Indeed Apply feature, or contact support@livehire.com.

Indeed Apply EEO Question Config - US Job Posts Only

Sticking with the Indeed theme, we have also released additional capabilities associated with categorising application questions, to allow these questions to be treated appropriately by Indeed when utilising Indeed Apply screener questions.

Indeed Apply currently supports the ability to pass configured job application questions associated with a job vacancy to Indeed, to be displayed for candidates electing to utilise the Indeed Apply functionality. This new capability allows for these application questions to be categorised as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) questions, which allows Indeed to display them within a distinct EEO section of the Indeed Apply flow. Note that this flow is only currently relevant for jobs that are posted to the US.

This new configuration option is accessible within the job application question templates page, within Admin Console, for appropriately permissioned users. When Adding or Editing a question, users will now see a new configuration item labelled ‘Is this a demographic question?’.

We strongly recommend that our US clients, and other clients who may post jobs to the US review their application question configuration, as Indeed have indicated their intent to monitor job posts to the US, to ensure EEO questions are appropriately configured.

While only relevant for Indeed Apply posts to the US for the time being, we do encourage all clients to review their application questions, and update this setting where relevant. This will ensure that any future jobs posted to the US, and utilising Indeed Apply, are treated appropriately, as well as allowing us to immediately provide this capability, should Indeed expand this to other territories.

WalkMe in Humanforce Talent

After market testing, Humanforce renewed our partnership with WalkMe to deliver in-product content. As a result, WalkMe has now replaced AppCues in the Humanforce Talent solution to power in-platform announcements and dynamic user flows, such as our recent announcement of the Humanforce Talent Customer Community Session.

In concert with this changeover, and in light of feedback from platform users, we have also condensed the number of informational user flows found throughout the system. All related information is still available in our Employer help centre, and we’ll continue to listen to the feedback from our users to drive towards the perfect balance for in-platform guidance.

Performance Improvements - Comms and Careers

In addition to feature development, the Humanforce Talent team have recently been focused on two key areas of the platform where we’ve noted the potential for substantial performance improvements; The Employer Comms inbox and Talent Community Careers pages.

Optimisations have been made to the loading of inbox counts and messages, with additional optimisations made within the Teams section of the inbox. These changes are expected to lead to improved performance and faster load times within the inbox, and when opening profiles from the inbox.

Additionally, optimisations have been made to the Talent Community Careers page, both to improve loading times, and to ensure a high level of resiliency. We’re continuing to work on some additional changes in this area, to further improve performance, which we’re looking to roll out over the coming months.

UI Display Improvements

We’ve resolved some key items raised by users and our internal teams, relating to the display of several elements within the UI.

Feedback indicated that some candidates were having issues accessing their submitted applications from their Talent profile to edit their applications for clients with this configuration. We’ve corrected a display issue for these applications which were related to applications where candidates were not required to answer any application questions.

Additionally, we resolved a formatting display issues initially reported by our internal teams where some custom question filters were displaying with visible HTML markup.

Finally, we’ve resolved a display inconsistency in our Offer Approvals Emails, where some offer content fields shown as a preview in the emails could be inconsistent, due to specific field configurations within the offer card.
